Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is not worth anything more than an afternoon sit-down or rainy weekend rental.- Planet Xbox 360

Aliens vs Predator is a string of recognized images and elbow-jabs asking, "Remember this?" An average shooter with the source material done well.- Planet Xbox 360

Ultimately, I can't recommend the title at 800 MS points, but the demo is available and worth a shot for anyone who feels puzzle titles are closer to their hearts than games belonging to other genres.- Planet Xbox 360

London 2012 is a nice step forward for Olympic games, and it's got us wondering just what Sega will do next when the 2014 Winter Olympics come about. I guess we'll find out soon enough.- Planet Xbox 360

Speedball 2 is not going to win any beauty contests, and the controls make it feel as though you are playing with a field of squeaky tin men, but it is not without its charms. The wealth of game modes, ability to run and grow an online team, and frantic gameplay ensure you will play this title for longer than a quick stroll down memory lane.- Planet Xbox 360

Even though this game shows sparks of brilliance I don’t necessarily recommend the purchase of it due to the short list of features and slow pacing. However it’s those sparks of brilliance that can very well turn this NBA Live franchise into a juggernaut of a NBA sim in a year or two down the road.- Planet Xbox 360

But judging the game on what’s included, there’s just not enough here to entice gamers that aren’t hardcore NHL fans.- Planet Xbox 360

Non-fans of the series will probably not enjoy this game. This game will most certainly appeal to some hardcore trek fans. It has moments that are great, but a wonderful soundtrack cannot overcome mediocre graphics and maddening game play.- Planet Xbox 360

I appreciate Vin Diesel’s love for gaming, and the plans he has for future games, but I can’t help but hope that the subsequent releases from his studio don’t cater to his Hollywood nature. His games will benefit from it.- Planet Xbox 360

2K9 finally sees the end of the bland Joe Morgan and John Miller era. Gary Thorne and Steve Phillips provide the analysis this time around, which is a huge improvement.- Planet Xbox 360

The bare-bones presentation and limited versus matches leave some definite room for improvement. With a greater focus on co-op and story, the next Armored Core could be the first must-own mech title.- Planet Xbox 360

Disney Interactive Studios' Pure is still the front-pack leader when it comes to dirt-racing greatness in video games, but if there were room for a close second place candidate, Nail'd easily takes that spot. What the game lacks in complexity, it makes up for with thrill-a-minute racing action and a slick presentation.- Planet Xbox 360

The overall experience is reminiscent of something you may have loved on the Super NES or Sega Genesis. Young gamers should find it appealing especially if they liked the movie, but even the low price tag can't quite muster a bang for your buck.- Planet Xbox 360

This game may not appeal to a big percentage of soccer fans. Nevertheless, it does provide a few good laughs albeit short-lived. It’s not a game I can see myself playing consistently.- Planet Xbox 360

The story and dialogue options are excellent and often lead towards compelling as you often feel as though the world is in the balance and your words will influence the survival of those around you. The gameplay however will try your patience now and again, but never becomes annoying enough to be called unplayable.- Planet Xbox 360

Even though it will satisfy anyone’s need to play a few good hands of Texas Hold ‘Em poker, its presentation is boring and it’s multi-player mode is bug ridden – leaving you with a half-made game.- Planet Xbox 360

There is far from enough depth here to keep veteran puzzle gamers entertained, and the lack of camera control will lead plenty to giving up before the second act, but the game's charms do work their magic on you the longer you play.- Planet Xbox 360

The game does enough to redeem D3 for the faults of the original, and leaves you actually wanting more Matt Hazard. Who would have thought?- Planet Xbox 360

Frustrating levels, repetitive gameplay, button mashing, and graphical issues are all problems that could probably have been fixed had the developers had a bit more time to polish off the title.- Planet Xbox 360

While Serious Sam 3 doesn't quite evolve as highly as other quality first-person shooters on the market, it's one of the best – and most affordable – ones when it comes to the Xbox Live Marketplace downloadable front.- Planet Xbox 360

Considering the subject material there are not many other games like it (F.E.A.R.) and the unique character-switching feature helps it pick up a few points. The nice variation in weapons and magical powers also keeps the average gameplay from getting too boring.- Planet Xbox 360

If you've got proper funds and a skill set to match, you'll have a good time with Scarygirl. While the presentation isn't as top shelf as those nifty stop-motion animated films I mentioned, it definitely holds up compared to other platformers of this nature. And the gameplay is fun too, as long as you don't develop an over reliance to throwing things around.- Planet Xbox 360

MX Vs. ATV Alive doesn't raise the bar when it comes to racing action, as its over comprehensive controls and familiar presentation won't wow everyone. But for fans of motocross and previous examples of Rainbow Studios' work, it's definitely worth taking a ride with.- Planet Xbox 360

King of Fighters XII is a balanced, beautiful game to witness and a fun start for the franchise's next generation, but it absolutely is a case of unfulfilled potential, especially considering it's supposed to be "the year of the fighter."- Planet Xbox 360

It was a bit surprising when we completed the game and found ourselves wanting more, lucky for us the multiplayer delivers just that. LucasArts really created something special with the “terrain deformation” aspects of Fracture and the way it is implemented into so much of the gameplay mechanics was inspiring.- Planet Xbox 360

Half the fun of a trivia game is that warm glow of superiority when you know something your friends do not. Thanks to the random-fact, numerical nature of the questions, that feeling of 'knowing' the answer does not happen often enough to warrant the, 800 Microsoft Points, price tag.- Planet Xbox 360

Seems really limited all around. Along with the lack of online functionality, the game is also missing the ability to download more songs for the library. It also doesn't really add much in the way of incentives.- Planet Xbox 360
