Warlords ends up being a bit of a mixed bag, as Atari tried to stuff the pot with too many recipes rather than simply dealing with what works (like its previous Xbox Live version of the game). However, if you're seeking a multiplayer romp or want to let off some steam with an alternative take on real-time strategy, this is worth going to battle with.- Planet Xbox 360

A great game that comes up shy in being the ultimate Halo experience. Since this is 343's first installment in what is supposed to be a new trilogy, I think they deserve plenty of credit for making a game that may not be revolutionary but opens the doors for some major improvements in the future.- Planet Xbox 360

I found myself experiencing overused animations, buggy graphic errors, and incredibly forceful controls (I quickly had to resort to button mashing if I had any chance of actually winning a match). It's as if the developers created too much of a flashy shell, with a huge cast of playable characters, extended game modes, content libraries, and deep customization around a somewhat empty core that is the game itself.- Planet Xbox 360
