Jul 12, 2012With a few frustrating puzzles, some unclear solutions, and no cooperative play, Quantum Conundrum isn't quite as polished as Portal 2 - but it's a very close homage at a fraction of the price. If you've been aching for more drops from Valve, this game will satisfy your quandary.
-
Jul 9, 2012Quantum Conundrum is about as close as you can get to ripping off Portal without Valve contacting their lawyers. Some of the puzzles are fun, but the game ultimately devolves into nothing more than platform hopping. The moments of brilliance cannot make up for some truly awful writing and an anticlimactic ending!
-
Jul 31, 2012Quantum Conundrum is a great puzzle game. The different dimensions give the game a unique feel and the cartoony style is nicely chosen. The controls are a bit sensitive, but it's not too bad. If you like solving puzzles, you are going to like Quantum Conundrum.
-
Sep 10, 2012Quantum Conundrum immediately reminds players of Portal, yet it never really matches its charms and humour, but Chell's fans should definitely try this one while waiting for her (possible) return.
-
Jul 18, 2012The rewarding sense of experimentation and problem-solving that dominates this quest makes putting up with its foibles worthwhile, and the twisting, puzzling halls of Quadwrangle Manor are substantial enough to justify the 1200-point ($15) price of admission.

X-ONE Magazine UKAug 18, 2012Saved somewhat by its excellent puzzles and incessant inventiveness. [Issue#88, p.86]
-
Aug 31, 2012Taken in small doses, any given level in Quantum Conundrum can be a fun diversion. As a whole, it fails to become more than a sum of its parts. The concept may be inspired and ambitious, but the repetitive puzzle rooms and twitchy platform controls make Quantum Conundrum feel rough around the edges.
