Jul 12, 2012With a few frustrating puzzles, some unclear solutions, and no cooperative play, Quantum Conundrum isn't quite as polished as Portal 2 - but it's a very close homage at a fraction of the price. If you've been aching for more drops from Valve, this game will satisfy your quandary.
-
Jul 11, 2012The main game is a little bit on the short side, but there are collectables to find and target times to hit for the puzzle rooms, so there is plenty to do once you finish the core game.
-
Jul 9, 2012Quantum Conundrum is about as close as you can get to ripping off Portal without Valve contacting their lawyers. Some of the puzzles are fun, but the game ultimately devolves into nothing more than platform hopping. The moments of brilliance cannot make up for some truly awful writing and an anticlimactic ending!
-
Aug 11, 2012If you are fascinated by puzzles and believe that video games can be much more than blood, bullets and kicks, maybe Quantum Conundrum is what you need.
-
Jul 31, 2012Quantum Conundrum is a great puzzle game. The different dimensions give the game a unique feel and the cartoony style is nicely chosen. The controls are a bit sensitive, but it's not too bad. If you like solving puzzles, you are going to like Quantum Conundrum.
-
Jul 19, 2012The quirky, lovable design and mounting (but never frustrating) gameplay will keep you coming back until the quest is finished, and the touches of humor spread throughout make it a lighthearted romp for all ages to enjoy.
-
Jul 13, 2012A bland story and bad parts cant prevent these really clever puzzles and witty charm to triumph in the end. A really great Xbox Live Arcade edition.
-
Jul 11, 2012The ambition is worthwhile on the whole, however, and if you'll frequently throw down the pad in fury, you'll just as frequently snatch it up again for another try.
-
Sep 10, 2012Quantum Conundrum immediately reminds players of Portal, yet it never really matches its charms and humour, but Chell's fans should definitely try this one while waiting for her (possible) return.
-
Oct 11, 2012If you're one for puzzle games and enjoyed Portal, Quantum Conundrum will be right up your alley, but the complexity of the puzzles later on in the game may deter the average gamer. This said, whichever category you fit into, Quantum Conundrum will surely entertain you for its 1200 MSP price tag and if you're stuck to find something to play, it is well worth the pickup.
-
Jul 18, 2012The rewarding sense of experimentation and problem-solving that dominates this quest makes putting up with its foibles worthwhile, and the twisting, puzzling halls of Quadwrangle Manor are substantial enough to justify the 1200-point ($15) price of admission.
