A quite interesting actionadventure. The hack'n'slash-battles are simply entertaining. Too bad the movement is too restricted. [Aug 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

You have to admire Pendulo Studios for surviving 18 years by making adventure gamers, but Yesterday is a truly lackluster example of the genre. The writing is consistently awful and the puzzles are annoying and illogical. [June 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

Children of Mana does not live up to the previous Seiken Densetsu releases. Character development is limited, the action is repetitive and the plot is boring, but graphics and playability are great. Too bad there is not more substance. [Feb 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

A highly addictive golf experience with an interesting and wide career mode. However, the game feels exactly the same as last year´s version. [Oct 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Armored Core V depicts fast-paced mech-warfare, where mech-building skills and tactical manoeuvres are as important as quick reflexes. [May 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

Puzzle pictures are interesting to some extent, but for a full scale game they are just not enough. I'd also rather wonder where Wally is than search for Millionaire's lost socks with a flashlight. [Feb 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

A creepy, slow-paced point ’n’ click adventure. The plot is fine, and so is the simple yet efficient user interface. The most annoying thing is a time-consuming mushroom hunt in a dark forest. The ending is not especially rewarding, either, but the realistic puzzles and the smooth gameplay make up for it quite nicely. [Dec 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

The same old agricultural experience once again. Old means in this case comfortable, familiar and entertaining instead of boredom and repetition. If you love the series or have never tried any Harvest Moon game go get this and start farming asap. Others may be happier elsewhere. [Mar 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Zombi is an ugly and a technically crippled game which has an excellent atmosphere in spite of the problems. [Sept 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

A decent, if uninspired fantasy RPG in the vein of the Elder Scrolls and Gothic series. Its biggest problem is the generic fantasy setting combined with general mediocrity. But in the end, it is fun to play, and there can never be too many RPGs like that. [Sept 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Mario & Sonic are at it again, and once again the game series breaks its personal best. Although the lack of content is still an issue, this time all the events are planned carefully and the online multiplayer gives something for the lone sportsmen, who don't want to enjoy the newest Nintendolympics in the living room. I'd give this title a bronze medal for effort. [Aug 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

This is mostly an unnecessary remake of the fantasy strategy classic. The improvements are minor in the graphics and nonexistent elsewhere, except for the multiplayer mode through Steam and the tablet versions, which might be the game's biggest selling point. The game itself is still gold - PC gamers should just consider if the old Ultimate Edition bundle, with expansion packages already included, is a better investment. [March 2015]- Pelit (Finland)

The Godfather 2 is a quite good, but too short GTA-style virtual criminal's sandbox. It doesn't look as impressive as "GTA IV", nor does it have as many things to do as "Saint's Row 2." [Mar 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Normally Free 2 Play games don't force you to buy the game first. Awful matchmaking, without dedicated servers GCI will sink without a trace. Or players. [March 2012]- Pelit (Finland)

A well-made action-adventure. Beautiful graphics, good gameplay and a bunch of fresh ideas offer pleasant times for adventurers. [Sept. 05]- Pelit (Finland)

A linear and slightly boring shoot'em up, which does not tap into the main game's strengths. Why the heck did we get a small scale conflict as the climax, when there was this whole end of the world stuff readily available as a dramatic finale? [Mar 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Puts player in a rather awkward role. You essentially play a person who hasn’t made a single good decision in his life. When none of your actions hold any kind of moral high-ground the whole experience starts to feel like a total downer. While the story certainly has an impact, the actual gameplay does not. Shooting behind the cover has been done much better. The real let-down is the last third of the game which is simply not fun to play. [Dec 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

WRC 5 leaves a really mixed taste. Deep down it is quite enjoyable arcade racing, but as a whole it feels really rushed and made with a tight budget. Especially annoying is that Neste Oil Rally is still pretty far away from the real thing. And please, forget the last-gen consoles on the next game and put full effort on current devices. A mediocre, fast paced mecha action that pretty much targets the marginal audience really getting their kicks from tuning massive combat robots. For average player, clinical storytelling without drama and hooks, nonexistant tutorial to the world and the game, and especially to the overwhelmingly complex robot modification will quickly dull the interest. The core of the game in combat and in the garage is solid, but that’s sadly it. [Mar 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Yoshi's New Island is a fun, cute and a lot easier platformer than other recent Nintendo games. It's a perfect match for a platformer novice, but gives thrills to a veteran too, especially when used as a sedative between much harder games. [Apr 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Afro Samurai plays it too cool. The game looks and sounds great, but everything is far, far too easy. Gameplay is just a one-button-smash and it’s practically impossible to actually die. It’s a shame, since the weird feudal Japan meets cyberpunk world is and interestingly funky place. [Apr 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Practically a Tekken Tag Tournament HD, since Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue is just a small taster and Tekken: Blood Vengeance is a B-class computer animation. That's fine, since TTT is still alive and kicking. [Dec 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

Fallout 3: Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta are Fallout 3's last two expansions and surprisingly from the opposite ends of the quality spectrum. Point Lookout is an enjoyable, well-made and immersive swamp adventure, whereas Mothership Zeta is boring as hell and plays like a crappy FPS. [Aug 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

Helldorado offers some good old challenge in a form of an puzzle game. Unfortunately the game runs in real time. In this case a turn based system would work much better. Altogether a nice piece of challenging puzzling, annoying even, at some points. If you aren't scared of the difficulty level, this is definitely your cup of whiskey. [July 2009]- Pelit (Finland)
