A must-buy for any fighting fan and an excellent game for demonstrating the power of Xbox 360. It is not the revolution many expected, but it is still easily the best game in the series. [Feb 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

Way more than a simple expansion – it’s practically a sequel. The three new game modes are excellent additions to the basic formula. Where are the classic tracks from the first WipEout, though? [Aug 2009]- Pelit (Finland)

A true blast from the past, turn based fantasy strategy in the spirit of old classics from 90s. A bold move that succeeds. Commanding your own orc horde or mercenary army to victory through the linear campaign is simply fun, especially when the game mechanics have nothing to be ashamed of, and there’s plenty of complexity to keep you thinking. We need more of unhurried, turn based goodness like this in the future. [Nov 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Takes a normal fantasy world and turns it into a refreshingly interesting place. Geralt is an excellent main character. The story moves along nicely after the boring old amnesia start and there are lots of things to do. The only major setback is the unresponsive combat, which doesn't give enough feedback to the player about what's really happening and if the commands are accepted or not. [Nov 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

An exhilaratingly brutal and brilliantly beautiful action adventure from the days of yore when ships were made of wood and men were made of iron. Some of the best barbarian entertainment we've had in years. [Apr 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

It’s a shame Monster Hunter is imprisoned within the confines of the 3DS, especially for a game as good as Generations is. If Capcom wanted a more widespread audience for Monster Hunter in the west, they should definitely release it on Steam. [Sept 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

Calling a revised version of a five-year-old game Ultimate is a stretch, even if you do add a flawless multiplayer mode and propably the most beautiful graphics seen on Xbox. [Mar. 05]- Pelit (Finland)

LittleBigPlanet 3 is a quite short, but very nice and pretty multiplayer platformer, one of the very best on its multiplayer niche. Competent and easy level editor rounds up the package nicely. [Dec 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

Not a masterpiece, but still a highly addictive football experience. The new AI system does not have great impact on gameplay. However, there are a lot of minor improvements, such as advanced set pieces and a brand new Master League. [Nov 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

Gaslamp Games has produced a modern version of roguelike. Although the game is blessed with comical graphics instead of typography, the mechanics under the hood remain the same from the Nethack era. The game is really, really unfair, but at the same time it is strangely addictive. [Sept 2011]- Pelit (Finland)

A great combination of real time strategy and turn based larger campaign. Its greatest achievement is the complete lack of micromanagement. [July. 05]- Pelit (Finland)

As addictive as was the first one. And infuriating too. The controls work now both left and right and the guys at Frogmind have devised a devilishly hard set of levels that will pop an artery or two, but you'll always ready to try again. And that, my friends, is a sure sign for an excellent game. [Feb 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

F1 2016 really is a huge step in the right direction after horrible 2015 release. Beautiful visuals (except the rubber-faced monstrosities posing as drivers and crew), well-done handling and the emphasis on little nuances of race weekend makes this easily the best game in the franchise. A little more personality traits to different AI drivers and maybe some emphasis on track-side visuals would make it even better. [Sept 2016]- Pelit (Finland)

A great game, also (or even) as a PC incarnation. But for marketing Vista and its DX10 graphics, Halo 2 is looking a couple years too dated. Hopefully Halo 3 will be converted faster. [June 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

There's plenty of stealth action games around but there's always room for quality. Logan's Shadow is a hand-held game with a pride. Two thumbs up. [Feb 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

The kings of the silly and witty make their way to the consoles. Sam&Max is still one of the funniest games on the shelves. The Wii version suffers a little inaccuracy of the mote control but fortunately it doesn't spoil the fun. If you crave for an adventure and haven't tried this out, now is the time. One of the best PSP games out there. Snake's dreary life is never fun but playing it is a true pleasure. What we have here is a stealth game par excellence. [Aug 2007]- Pelit (Finland)

If it has zombies, it can't be bad - at least not, when we're talking about Sam&Max adventure. After a little bit boring second episode NRV takes the series back where it belongs: to the top five of the recent adventure genre. Equipped with witty humor, funny characters and completely absurd plot the night of the living dead is worth every penny. Some puzzles are a little bit illogical and not all the jokes are funny, but so what? [June 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Thanks to PC controls, shooting is no longer a source of constant irritation and the game can really shine. CoC in an excellent horror adventure. Fear and loss of sanity can really be seen and felt. The game is faithful to Cthulhu mythos, full of memorable scenes and has the only ending there can be. [Apr 2006]- Pelit (Finland)

PGR 2.5 would have been a more suitable name, since there is not that much new. The drop dead gorgeous graphics make the game a wet dream for sports car enthusiasts. Easy to handle, beautiful to look at. I can live with that. [Dec 2005]- Pelit (Finland)

A gem of a game. A bit more straightforward than the Baldur's Gate games, but Icewind Dale is a classic RPG in its own right. Beautiful artwork, great soundtrack and responsive combat make for a great game. [Dec 2014]- Pelit (Finland)

A very good fantasy-RTS slash -RPG with heavy emphasis on the RTS-side of things. The difficulty level seems to be all over the place and the story is quite dull, though. [Apr 2008]- Pelit (Finland)

Max Payne 3 is a great action-movie experience with life-like characters that Rockstar is famous for. It does fall a bit flat on the actual action part, however. The controls on consoles are confusing and hard to get used to. Still very much worth a play-thru. It's also one of the best looking console games in the current generation.
