Rustler copies ideas and mechanics of Grand Theft Auto 2 and tries desperately to squeeze them into a medieval setting. Neither the story nor the gameplay are exciting. Even the Monty Python-inspired Quests do not make it a good game and the highest of feelings was us smirking about the silly humour.- PC Games

An annoying protagonist and a moralising undertone that prevents the player from making real decisions themselves undercut an otherwise thrilling story.- PC Games

In a world after Dying Light, Zombi looks and feels like a shambling mess. Poor graphics, mindless head-bashing and the perplexing lack of a stealth option make this one hard to swallow even for zombie enthusiasts.- PC Games

While AO Tennis 2 improves upon many features from its predecessor, but the unbalanced challenge and short tutorials make the game quite inaccessible. The mechanic of good and evil seems like a unique idea, but its implementation is superficial at best.- PC Games

In the past it was big and noisy games that inspired me. For quite some time now, it's surprisingly often the smaller ones. Games that take their time. Games that create moments that touch me in such a way that they lift me out of my soles. Games like What Remains of Edith Finch. The Bradwell Conspiracy would like to clearly hit this notch, but unfortunately the debut of A Brave Plan doesn't succeed. It lacks depth and courage, at the same time the game is struggling with too many problems. Nevertheless, The Bradwell Conspiracy has a charm that I can't deny - I don't want to deny! I just had a lot of fun immersing myself in the secrets of Bradwell, especially with the photo function and the great written and spoken Amber.- PC Games

Piranha Bytes is going back to its roots – including new cool factions like the Demonhunters and Guardians, both using powerful fantasy-spells. The game also offers a rich and detailed open world, mixing pirate- with medieval-setting where you can explore tons of rpg-content. Unfortunately the cinematic and technical presentation isn’t state of the art, including camera- and clipping-problems. Though the combat-system has improved since Risen 2, it still isn’t well balanced and polished.- PC Games

The Minecraft saga continues: Minecraft Legends is a beautiful strategy game, made for beginners of the genre. The campaign and the versus-mode are fun to play. If there wouldn’t be some bigger pathfinding issues with our A.I. compagnons and with more options of commands, the game would be even better.- PC Games

While WRC definitely lacks the glamourous presentation and technical splendour of its main rival Dirt 2, it has something else to offer: Real rally gameplay. The classic rally-contests where you are racing alone on an empty route, just against the clock, are something that Dirt 2 cold-shouldered and WRC now picked up. And it even does a pretty good job there. We criticize the lack of variety (there is no rally-cross mode for example) and the antiquated engine, but traditional rally-fans won't find a more convincing simulation of their favourite sport at the moment.- PC Games

The new farming-simulator-game is overall more of the same. You'll expand your farm, buy new vehicles and go for random missions like lawn mowing at the golf-court. Unfortunately the time-limit in those missions is horrible. The farming-gameplay is easy to learn and there are more than 100 vehicles to buy, modeled with rich detail. The game could be much better, if the developer would have focused on a smooth interface and more realistic physics.- PC Games

Based on the simplistic structure of Crimes and Punishments, but with the addition of clunky action sequences, QTEs and even more skippable mini-games. In short: The Devil's Daughter takes a big step in the wrong direction.- PC Games

It's clearly unfinished. But if you can look past the performance issues, weak AI and abundance of bugs, there is a nice Dungeon Keeper experience to be had. War for the Overworld does not add anything new to the formula, it does not even copy it to its full extent (take the useless walls, for example), but it is fun nonetheless. With further patching and some rebalancing, this could actually turn out as a great game one day.- PC Games

The shooter portion is rock solid, but battles are generic and without real challenges. The game is still buggy and the first patches didn’t bring any new highlights or motivating content.- PC Games

In Stonefly we are going on an adventure together with the main character Anika. Anika is very small, which makes the world around her really big. With our mech-bug, we explore the world, which looks like a Pixar movie merged with damped colours. Our biggest criticism are the many bugs – pun very much intended – which gave us a hard time. Many of the gameplay mechanics do not work the way they are supposed to or are just not well enough thought through.- PC Games

The new engine and the new foresting gameplay elements fit well into the classic farming setting of the series. The farming features are tweaked a little, but overall it feels just the same like in Farming Simulator 13, but technically enhanced. The Day-One Patch fixed some bugs, but still existing physical-problems and gameplay issues in version 1.1, especially in multiplayer mode, have to be handled with forthcoming patches.- PC Games

The games of the Gothic series had a decisive influence on my childhood and Piranha Bytes as developers have always had a special place in my heart. This atmosphere and credibility in a game world can hardly be found in any other role-playing game to this day. But the magic has slowly faded for me. Yes, Elex 2 also pushes the right buttons and the first chapters were among the best the studio has produced in years. So I could easily overlook the once again mediocre battle system and the weak technology. But I was all the more horrified when this whole structure began to crumble halfway through and completely collapsed towards the end. Piranha Bytes should have focused less on the long playing time and more on a consistently strong atmosphere and quest-design.- PC Games

Cooking Simulator is fun, despite its tedious career mode. There’s a lot of detail tot he different recipes and it takes a lot of focus to be successful. This is partly so because of the controls which aren’t always too responsive and some technical hiccups. Cooking Simulator isn’t a full meal, but a great snack.- PC Games

Totally uninspired gameplay, technical bugs, design flaws – everything just for the sake of showing off some fancy new units. Uprising is EA’s guide to self-adulation. Whoever seeks an enthralling game with innovation: Look somewhere else.- PC Games

The first hours playing Starships is great fun, because it’s easy to get into and not that hard to learn the basics. After a couple of matches, though, it becomes obvious that the game is lacking complexity and depth, where it would be really needed: in tactical combat diplomacy and planet management. But even if Starships lacks long-term motivation, it’s a game you’ll be coming back to over and over again.- PC Games

To developers all around the globe: This is how NOT to make innovations. From the role playing aspects to the online-only player profile – the feature list of Tiberian Twilight screams “We wanted to make it cool, but we failed!”. Though the multiplayer part delivers some fast and fun battles, Tiberian Twilight is overall a very sad ending for a once beloved RTS series.- PC Games

Sea of Solitude doesn’t quite hit the mark. Gameplay-wise it is boring, the story overexplains too much and isn’t as interesting as it thinks it is. The idea behind it all, however, is great, exploring the concept of being lonely and taking the issue of depression seriously.- PC Games
