Miles better than the technical disaster X Rebirth, X4 is still far away from its clearly recognizable ideal state.

A solid, unremarkable co-op shooter that lacks ideas, identity, and variety. Painkiller fans will be disappointed.

Praise to Bigmoon for the courage to take on this difficult to implement racing game genre. The small studio has also mastered the big task properly, especially the challenging navigation is authentically conveyed to the player. However, Dakar 18 weakens in one decisive discipline: driving physics. In times of a Dirt Rally 2.0, which will appear next February, racing fans expect more from a game with a simulation claim. Also the missing vehicle tuning as well as the spartan damage model should be offensive to simulation fans. But if you don't let this spoil the fun, you'll get an off-road game of a different kind, which also creates a Dakar atmosphere thanks to the pretty graphics and the authentic navigation system.

Finally a game with a large publisher behind it that deliberately resists the mass market! Unfortunately Murdered has not become the game that it could have been.

A solid and yet pointless action-rpg that is missing almost everything what made God of War a blast: spectacular bossfights, a thrilling plot, charismatic characters, impressive architecture and design, a fluid combat system and an epic orchestral soundtrack - you won't find any of that in Rise of the Argonauts.

Blightbound fails to convince mot only gameplay-wise. That’s a real shame, because the art style is very pretty. Bad AI, boring characters and a story that’s barely there are just some of the things that bothered us.

Too many elementary mistakes were simply made here: the mission design is too monotonous, the story is poorly told, the technology an impertinence. To make matters worse, the makers neglected the endgame. Thus, the former RPG specialists here have finally lost the trust of many fans.

This game shows a lot of ideas and potential, but uses nearly none of it. Although the story is about breaking out of the famous high-security prison Alcatraz the game lacks not only good puzzles, graphics or animations, but even a proper atmosphere of that. So the sound and speech is nearly the highlight of the game. Not the best recommandation for an adventure.

    Kyn
If you like games like Dungeon: Siege and Divinity: Original Sin, Kyn could be a nice choice to be played. The Viking-fantasy-setting is well designed, the combat-system is fast and tactical. The classless RPG-system allows flexible character progression and skill-selection. Some minor bugs and uncomfortable menus are annoying. Graphics are nice and sound is very atmospheric.

Call of Duty has lost its magic. Modern Warfare 3 is miles away from the epic campaign missions of the franchise. The new open combat missions are boring and we are missing the scripted action sequences of the prequels. After only four hours the story is completed, even for a Call of Duty that’s short. We still have the feeling, this game should be a DLC and not a sequel of MW2. [Campaign Review Score = 40]

While the game is not nearly as ground breaking as an earthquake, the concept is unique and expands on a working idea. Technically and visually, Disaster Report 4 is, well, a disaster, but its absurd combination of comedy and drama evokes a certain charm.

Towaga: Among Shadows is simple, but fun. The controls are good, the artstyle is beautiful and it just feels nice to play. It’s a pity, then, that the story is over so soon and that some of the fights aren’t as good as the rest of the game.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint suffers from the lack of decisiveness. It does not know whether it is a single player game or a loot-shooter like The Division 2 and thus, fails to satisfy either of the two areas. Additionally, a poor enemy AI and a story oozing with clichés add to the shooter distress.

With all the negative ratings on Steam, I had severe doubts that there would be any fun to have with Space Hulk: Deathwing. But I was actually pleasantly surprised when I played the game. I came across none of the performance issues, bugs or crashes that so many people had lamented over. Therefore, I was able to actually enjoy myself quite a bit. The gloomy atmosphere and immense fun, that just mowing down Tyranids is, was enough to keep me entertained. Of course, this isn’t supposed to mean, Space Hulk: Deathwing has no flaws. The companion-AI only does a proper job some of the time, the multiplayer lacks motivating content and the gunplay as well as the system for building your character is in need of some refinement. Furthermore, the developers have to improve the difficulty-balancing, because even on the lowest setting I sometimes found myself stuck in very uneven situations. Still, every fan of the 40K-unviverse and linear wave-shooters will definitely have a fun time with Space Hulk: Deathwing. If you experience huge technical issues though, return the game or wait for future patches.

A good action game with fast-paced combat, beautiful visuals plus a welcome emphasis on exploration. However the experience is held back by some noticeable flaws: Annoying stealth sections, uninspired environments and the abstruse story are significant letdowns in a game that could have been an incredible sequel.

An all too ordinary action game about Michael Bay’s Hollywood Blockbuster. Although the fight sequences offer a lot of fun, Transformers suffers from a miserable AI, almost no atmosphere and rough controls.

Due to the performance problems on PS5 and Xbox Series, we are forced to deduct [10 points] here. Overall, The First Descendant does not fully exploit its potential. But the title has enough room for improvement and could therefore be expanded further in the coming weeks and months. Even the popular Destiny series was unable to convince players from the start.

A simulation about paramedics is a great idea. The job is exciting and important. Unfortunately, Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator has a lot of bugs, graphic issues and since the Day 1 Patch also in terms of content some problems. The gameplay isn’t that bad, but overall a lot of potential gets wasted.

Too bad for the German market that biathlon is not in the game, but in exchange you relive exciting disciplines like ski jumping or skeleton. Paired with good graphics and a nice rock music soundtrack you get one of the better Olympics-games of the past years. The downsides: a cheating AI and annoying, repetitive disciplines like ice skating.

The First Descendant had lots of potential, but now we know it’s just a mediocre shooter. The gunplay is fun, the descendants and their skills are nice to have, but a boring story, generic mission designs and big performance issues tarnish the reputation.

Fans beware: This is not a Sacred game, no matter how many threes they put on the box. There is no loot, no in-depth RPG elements and no open world to explore. Above all, the game is bursting with insufferable humor and exhausting voice acting. If you manage to ignore all that, there is a good chance you might enjoy the simple combat, co-op mode and decent graphics. Even though the whole thing turns stale pretty quickly.

Unfortunately, Dark Void does not meet any of our expectations. What could have been an interesting shooter with seamlessly integrated flight combat turns out to be a mediocre looking action game without outstanding moments. Besides the uninspired look and the boring level design, the biggest problem is, that there are just not enough possibilities to use the jetpack in a cool way. Most of the time you are either flying or walking. Only in a handful of situations it’s really useful to fire up your turbines during an on-foot-fight and show the enemies what death from above really means.

The games are mostly great, the form in which they are presented is not, for playing them via streaming is a buggy chore. What could have been a treat for fans of the series ends up being a disappointment.
