Better, if for no other reason but the improved game mechanics. If they had made those improvements alone and left out the "Revenge" mode, I probably would score the game higher. However, the fact that they invested time, effort, and money into this mode forces me to push their score down.- Operation Sports

The graphics are bad, the gameplay is below average and the career mode is weak, add it all up and it makes for a game I can’t really recommend to anyone.- Operation Sports

The only thing I could say is that I wanted to go off and play "Track n Field" to get my Olympic fill.- Operation Sports

The game doesn’t double fault, but it sure does have a bunch of 'lets'.- Operation Sports

While, this game is better then previous efforts, Final Four is still a long way from competing with the big boys.- Operation Sports

Even at $29.99 I have a hard time endorsing the game as a purchase due to the control issues and problematic AI.- Operation Sports

It was like playing a toned down version of last year’s Blitz game with 11 players and 10 yards for a first down. Same playbooks, same style of play, same moves and a turbo button.- Operation Sports

Poor control with one camera angle does not make a great game. You can have all the features in the world but if you don’t enjoy the gameplay then it was all for not.- Operation Sports

It has a lot of potential, but falls short yet again. If you have an Xbox and a Playstation 2 and you want a wrestling game, then wait until November when the new "Smackdown" game comes out.- Operation Sports

The racing can be good, the depth is fine, but the overall execution of the game makes the user feel like they have been shortchanged.- Operation Sports

The gameplay is nothing special, but not terrible either. The graphics and audio however are well below what we should expect on this system.- Operation Sports

It's technically excellent, and really only suffers in comparison to its strong legacy. [*Note: original score posted by Operation Sports as 3/5 = 60. Current score on their redesigned site is inaccurate.]- Operation Sports

The title is sure to horrify the hardcore, while providing hours and hours of fun for those who are looking for more action and less strategy. [*Note: original score posted by Operation Sports as 3/5 = 60. Current score on their redesigned site is inaccurate.]- Operation Sports

As with all of the games I've played in the EA Street series, you'll eventually start to realize that this is a game based on the amount of trickery you can pull off, rather than the real sport of soccer, which results in a stale and monotonous gaming experience.- Operation Sports

You’re going to get a solid arcade hockey game, wrapped in a fun title. I personally prefer games that are more of a simulation.- Operation Sports

Once you turn off the commentary and cut scenes, this is a very solid golf game, but if you're only getting one golf game this year - for ten dollars more, you might get more birdies for your buck with "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005".- Operation Sports

A highly enjoyable, if a bit simplistic two-player experience. However, the single-player experience is ridiculously shallow, and consists of nothing more than playing game after game in sequence.- Operation Sports

While the challenge of the game is strong and the replay is huge, the ability to draw in a non-wrestling gamer is not here. This game is only for the hardcore wrestling fans.- Operation Sports

A title that was started before its time and released after its time - it could have been a refreshing mix in the racing genre, whereas now it's simply another title on the shelf in the crowded racing market.- Operation Sports

Gamers looking for a fun, casual game with online play and unlockables may like Gretzky NHL as an excellent update to the classic hockey games of the 16-bit era.- Operation Sports

While NBA '06 featuring “The Life, Volume 1” is not revolutionary at the core, I personally believe more immersive experiences like this are the way sports gaming is headed. I’m very excited for it.- Operation Sports

I’m having fun playing this game and there are enough options here to keep me playing for a while. From a non-soccer fan like me, that speaks volumes.- Operation Sports

There are too few modes, not enough worthy unlockables, and no type of extended functionality, such as a create-a-wrestler - and this brings down the longevity of what would otherwise be a quality game.- Operation Sports

The replay factor is really, really limited. You can play for the Cup then, basically, play for the cup again. The lack of online play doesn’t help either.- Operation Sports

This remains a game with an awful lot of potential, but not much execution. It's still glitchy - this review doesn't cover more than a fraction of the issues I've seen - but underneath it all is a set of baseball ideas and mechanics that could easily produce a fantastic game in the future.- Operation Sports
