Madden, Sega, and Fever fanboys need not apply. Blitz is Blitz! And it is fun.

What's missing is fun, while Madden plays the closest representation of football (still a ways to go), it needs to interject the passion of the NFL into the game.

With solid visual, great modes, and heavy replay value, WTS2003 is a great sports title.

The nice thing is, unlike FIFA, you don't see the spectacular move all that often, so when you do you really appreciate it even more.

This game suffers from a terrible case of rubber-band AI and forces you to finish first to move on. Had this not been the case it could have been another instant classic.

This game has fun written all over it, but I can only take the over the top action for so long.

It’s not a game that will hold your interest for more than a couple of weeks. The challenge mode is fun, but once that’s finished; there aren’t many other options (besides starting over) as far as single player gameplay is concerned.

I enjoyed MM3 but it did start to become a little repetitive in the single player mode, although there are lots of challenges, tracks and cars to unlock at some point you seem to be racing just to unlock the next track or particular vehicle and not because of the race.

Few arcade type racing titles are created with the entertaining gameplay and great presentation this game possesses...Unfortunately it lacks length.

A good game. It has some considerable depth to it, but also has some shortcomings – and the biggest ones are the lack of custom soundtracks and the limited ability to configure the controls exactly to your needs.

I think that they have, and not only have they finally gotten a button mashing game on the right track, they found a way to present it in a fashion where the player can not only enjoy the game, but have you coming back for more in the long run.

There’s no doubt that World Rally Championship is the best rally game on the PS2 to date, but it will also disappoint as many people as it impresses.

I must admit that if I were rating this game based on its online play and fun factor alone it would receive a higher score. The lack of any sort of franchise mode, choppy animations and some minor control issues bring it down.

It’s that pretty girl you’ve been waiting to take to the big dance. She looks good you are ready for a great time but you find out she’s a bit dull and getting to like her will take some work.

A pure arcade baseball game, geared towards the individual who wants to pick up and play a game of extreme arcade baseball.

This is the very first basketball game in which I have ever, and I mean ever been able to get realistic numbers while playing a full game using 12-minute quarters.

If you love Nascar, but don’t have the time to play a game for a week before you can even compete, then this is your cup of tea...It’s fun, it’s easy, and it doesn’t take a lot of intelligence to succeed in.

The quick pace and the continuous user input is rather enjoyable but in the end, it can’t shake off some of its quirks for the one player game.

Yes Knockout Kings 2002 might be more considered a button masher/arcade game than a strategic sim, but bottom line, it’s one enjoyable game.

A game that is a lot of fun, and has considerable depth. However, being an arcade game at heart, it may be frowned upon by the sim player.

I believe the career mode could take a lesson from Madden. It seems the sponsers would be more fun if the negotiations were more like the free agent signings in Madden.

After a few hours of gameplay it feels as though I’ve done this all before. Maybe it’s the whole trick system (again, nice additions with the co-op mode and rope mechanics), or the fact that it’s the same old "complete objectives to open new locations to reach competitions" thing that we’ve been doing since August of 1999.

With its great mod community and minimal work on your part, you can make High Heat Major League Baseball 2003 one of the most rewarding baseball gaming experiences you could ever ask for.

This is a nice looking, sounding, and smooth game of hockey. The gameplay AI and even Franchise AI is suspect - and below par, in my opinion.

The major components are very polished...it’s the small things that seem duct-taped on as an afterthought. Interface, options, and a schizophrenic driving model just kept it from greatness.

There’s a heck of a lot more competition out there. But, what they do, they do very well. It’s a fun arcade racer in single player and a blast of an arcade racer online.

However, the series is starting to act like geriatric "classic" rockers who take the same "Greatest Hits" out on the road year after year. It's got its play list down pat, but there's nothing new there.
