-
It has made the game feel more responsive and added more immersion thanks to the fans animations and various chants.
-
Although the game won't make its competitors sweat, it will definitely make them keep an eye out for future World Tour Soccer games. [June 2004, p.86]
-
The pieces dont fit completely together and the delay in the control takes the blame for that one. Combine that with a basic camera that could be doing a lot more to show off the action and the experience loses a bit of its luster in practice.
-
World Tour Soccer 2005 is undone by the delay between button pressing and action on the screen. If it ran smoothly it would probably give Winning Eleven 7 a run for its money this year. However, the delay destroys any possibility of that happening.
-
If soccer is your gig, if you found FIFA too light, Winning Eleven too intense, you should pick up World Tour Soccer.
-
PSM MagazineA valiant try, but Sony's latest rendition of "the beautiful game" lacks the true gameplay depth and subtlety to challenge champions like "Winning Eleven 7" or "FIFA." [June 2004, p.29]
-
Cheat Code CentralAll commands are delayed by a second or two because of the stock animation that plays out. I found myself furiously tapping the controller as if the problem was a defective button that just wouldn't listen.
