If you're not offended by anime girls with ridiculously bouncy watermelon breasts in various stages of undress, there's an enormous game packed with hours of shallow-but-enjoyable narrative, tons of retro-style beat-'em-up fun, and a few guilty pleasures along the way.

Thankfully 3D World isn’t just a refinement of the Mario formula, it’s a powerful re-imagining. It’s an explosive cavalcade of color and excitement as well as a well thought out evolution of Mario.

From the boring story, to the shallow single-player gameplay, to the dull characters, Mass Effect 3: Special Edition didn’t do anything for me to live up to its Wii U subtitle.

A Link Between Worlds is a delightful adventure that hits every high note a 2D Zelda game has ever produced while creating many new hallmarks of its own.

In all, the technical problems of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes really make it difficult to recommend, although there’s no dearth of content. You just have to be willing to put up with a lot to enjoy it.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is an alright game, but it doesn't push the boundaries as much other entries in the franchise.

While it would be nice if more difficult exercises were readily available from that start and if routines didn’t feature a jerky start-stop-start progression, Wii Fit U remains the best exercise game I’ve ever played.

Aside from a few references hidden here and there, Regular Show: Mordecai & Rigby in 8-Bit Land won’t really do much for you if you’re a fan of the show. The game itself can actually be a lot of fun despite all of its problems.

What Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate lacks in its plot, it more than makes up for with its gameplay. It may not be on par with its console brethren, but it’s still an enjoyable experience, whether or not you’ve played previous games in the series.

If you have kids and they love any of the Marvel superheroes, I could definitely recommend this game to them. Otherwise, you can le’go of any hope that this game could be enjoyable.

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games is exactly what it says it is: an Olympics game with Mario and Sonic. While it is fun, it doesn’t necessarily do anything past entries didn’t do. That’s not necessarily a bad thing though, because overall it is a fun formula, despite some of its flaws.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies offers around 25 hours of brand-new Ace Attorney content, and most of that content is in-line with the greatness of previous entries while offering a creative take never before seen.

As this is a prequel and the fate of many characters is already well known, Azran Legacy can’t really hope to compete with the emotional gravity of Lost Future. However, it is an intelligent and engaging addition to the series, bringing together the best of the new and old.

Anybody looking for a decent rhythm game will likely be disappointed with the inaccuracy, and anybody looking to improve their dancing skills with realtime feedback would probably be better served just purchasing a dance video.

The game feels like more Star Wars than pinball, and at its core it’s just a dressed up pinball game with some nice extras. If you’re a pinball lover and a fan of the Star Wars franchise, you’ll be in heaven with this game. If you’re not, then it might not be for you.

If you skipped out on the original WiiWare release, this version is still an excellent choice. It performs slightly worse than its console counterpart, and fighting the same opponents in each difficulty level can get a bit annoying, but despite those two small complaints, it doesn’t change the fact that it’s still an excellent game in its own right.

Sonic Lost World is filled with many missteps that make it disappointing. Instead of being a good Sonic game, it is just a below average 3D platformer. Despite his speed, the blue blur could not keep up with anyone’s expectations of the game, nor be entertaining in his own right.

Skylanders: Swap Force on 3DS is not the best version of what will most likely be one of this year’s hottest games, but it is a version that can fulfill the needs of the gamer on the go. It may lack some of the quirks that make the console versions so appealing, but with plenty to do and plenty of Skylanders to collect, Skylanders: Swap Force will keep you reasonably entertained for quite a while.
