Pokémon X and Y is an odd pair of games to quantify because, on one hand, they are still solid entries in an incredible JRPG series and they offer some select new features that go above and beyond to make this feel like a brand new generation. On the other hand, inconsistent presentation, insubstantial core innovation, a low Pokémon count, and a minimal post-game keep them from achieving the total nirvana that this series has always been capable of.- NintendoWorldReport

Following up on the success of Unlimited, Scribblenauts Unmasked is a huge disappointment. The use of the DC Comics license is novel, but it doesn’t add up to anything more than a curiosity in a game that already has enough curiosity to go around.- NintendoWorldReport

There just wasn't enough charm to fully recommend the game if you're expecting a full-on 80's arcade experience. It's best to put your quarter elsewhere if this was the game you were planning calling dibs on next.- NintendoWorldReport

AiRace Speed is a major improvement over AiRace Tunnel in almost every regard. While not all of its 18 courses are unique, it has a style and flair which is simply unmatched.- NintendoWorldReport

The biggest problems are found within the game's presentation, which looks dated and needed an update from its original release. Porting it to the Nintendo 3DS was almost pointless, but it’s saved by some clever uses of StreetPass, SpotPass and Local Play.- NintendoWorldReport

In the end, the game’s best feature is how well it respects the player’s time. With some minor options tweaks, even boss battles can be lightning fast. Growing your characters and working out new strategies with Grimoire Stones is incredibly rewarding.- NintendoWorldReport

With a wide selection of fishing games to choose from, it’s hard to understand why the developers of Fish On 3D decided to simply not put more effort into their game to help it stand out.- NintendoWorldReport

The bottom line is that while the game is presented quite well, the mediocre experience is bogged down by unnecessary restrictions that do nothing to save it from a glancing waste of time at best. Your money would be better spent buying a puzzle book or newspaper, or looking up any of the hundreds of free browser based spot-the-difference puzzles online.- NintendoWorldReport

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams comes late to the Wii U and if you’ve been waiting for this version to play it, I’m glad to say that the performance is stable throughout the game, with the exception of parts of the final sequence, where the slowdown might be a blessing anyway.- NintendoWorldReport

Quite frankly, there’s nothing else quite like The Wonderful 101 on the market. It’s an incredibly polished game that’s few blemishes are easily overlooked. If you own a Wii U, you owe it to yourself to see how wonderful The Wonderful 101 truly is.- NintendoWorldReport

Yes, it would have been nice to get the game months ago as originally intended, but don’t let Ubisoft’s distrust in the platform sway you; Rayman Legends is one of Wii U’s best.- NintendoWorldReport

If you feel like you can put up with copious loading screens and cutscene glitches, then I would say this is worth picking up. However, if you’re looking for the tight, polished package that Splinter Cell games used to be, then you’ll likely be left wanting.- NintendoWorldReport

There are better LEGO games out there, but if you have a child into the world of Chima the experience will be satisfying enough due to familiar voices and spiffy visuals.- NintendoWorldReport

Bare-bones as it is, Smash Bowling is a solid title for anyone looking for nothing more than a straight bowling game. In most aspects it plays well and overall offers up a decent challenge. It is not a bad game, but with little to keep players going for more than a week, it’s still a far cry from being very worthwhile.- NintendoWorldReport

I wish it had more variety, as the available Play Sets are from three Pixar movies and two live-action movies starring Johnny Depp. Even still, Disney Infinity is the game, and potentially the platform, for Disney fans. And hopefully these Disney fans have some money to spend.- NintendoWorldReport

I can’t see a reason why anyone above the age of 6 would buy this game. The game gets boring quickly and offers very little reason to play past the first couple of minutes. But hey, if you’re a Smurf fanatic you may enjoy little blue people dancing across the screen for 30 seconds at a time.- NintendoWorldReport

Should you buy this game? If you liked the original NES version, yes. If you also liked the DuckTales cartoon, double yes. Young'uns who never experienced either of those certainly won't be able to appreciate this remake as much, but it's still a prime example of a solid, fun platformer with some decent challenge to be had.- NintendoWorldReport

Art Academy: SketchPad is a fun little app, which is essential for Miiverse artists and something to toy around with for others. You must understand, however, that you won't be guided through the experience, so you won't get any help understanding what you need to do. If you can get past that, you will find a fantastic tool to make pictures on the Wii U GamePad.- NintendoWorldReport

There is a great satisfaction in slamming a terrifying metal bowling ball into loads of zombies and even though there isn’t much else added in terms of mini-games, it’s a fun little game that I can see myself picking up again and again to add some quick slaughter to my day.- NintendoWorldReport

Overall, I enjoyed what I played. I wish there was more imagination put into the level and enemy design, but if you want a cheap, fun high-score chasing shoot-'em-up, I'm sure you'll have a blast.- NintendoWorldReport

Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale isn’t a long game. You can finish the main story in around three hours, and all of the end game content in about four or five hours. Nevertheless, its charming story and exceptional presentation make it more than worth your time, especially if you’re fond of Japanese monster flicks from the 60s and 70s.- NintendoWorldReport
