The game and controller is easily worth what retailers are charging, and the package is an ideal way of getting the Wii message of playing together across to the casual consumer. Wii Play is far more than just a collection of minigames, it is an extension of the console itself and should be the first port of call for all new Wii owners.

Games of this nature need to decide, up front, who their intended audience is. Otherwise, you end up with a game that tries to be accessible to children, yet provide enough depth to please older gamers.

The control scheme is largely a mess, but Electronic Arts succeeds in giving gamers more standard WWII action gameplay.

At the end of the day, Decepticons comes out feeling half-baked.

All of the elements are there for a really good game. The only things holding this back are the serious repetition and the small amount of different modifications you can do to each car.

Judged on a point-by-point basis, Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers is not a good game; the presentation is awfully generic, the story and dialogue don’t make sense, and the gameplay is ultimately hampered by painful motion controls.

It’s just that it isn’t all that fun, nor a worthy purchase for any serious gamer.

The core gameplay is rather uninspired but works well enough, the visuals and audio are both mixed bags, and the campaign is a decent enough length but never really offers a great sense of accomplishment.

The idea is solid, solid enough that it should be revisited in the future, even if the execution this time around is lacking.

Not a bad game, for The Sims' first handheld outing. Despite its many little flaws, Bustin' Out is still a hard game to put down.

The game is a mixed-bag, for sure, but the highs slightly outweigh the fighting genre side effects.

The typical Final Fantasy charm is there, but Square-Enix had good reason to keep this one out of the states for so long.

There's a lot of content and novel concepts in this game, but you'll need to look past the cheesier elements and muddy presentation to love what's underneath.

Crystal Bearers is a game in desperate need of more variety. After putting in a couple of hours most gamers will be seasoned veterans of the game’s mechanics and start to grow tired of them.

Every platforming challenge is camera related. It's sad, because there is a lot of untapped potential in Pac-Man World 3.

A 3D fighter on DS is long overdue, and D3 deserves kudos for being the first to publish such a title. Unfortunately, there are too many pieces of frosting missing to make this either a good introduction to the world of Naruto or a solid execution of a fighter on the handheld.

After forcing myself to play it through, I must admit the game has some positive qualities -- just not enough to endear it to anyone over the age of 9.

Dawn of the Dragon may be lacking the polish and spark of big name DS titles, but it’s a solid time-waster.

The DS version is a markedly better effort than its Wii counterpart. Rather than being confined to the Wii version’s claustrophobic combat arenas, players can traverse larger environments and thus gather more of a sense of actually being on an adventure.

The Lion King 1.5 isn’t a bad game. I actually thought it was a lot of fun. It is well-animated and entertaining, but it was just unforgivably easy.

Probably the best representation of the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game to date. However, as an update to what was a very good game in WWE, it doesn’t go as far as it probably should.

Due to its unoriginal rehash of platformer game mechanics Pac-Man World 3 is only recommended for younger audiences or those new to the 3D platformer.

While this game has more single player potential than some other DS puzzlers, it lacks the multiplayer fun of titles like Bomberman DS and Puyo Pop Fever.

As it is, this game is still a good fit for preteens, although the extremely low difficulty level, even on Hard, might not appeal to players looking for the next Marvel Vs. Capcom.
