It shows a real effort to make a solid representation of UFC. It works solidly. What I don’t like, however, is that it’s lacking the flair and pizzazz of a fighter.- Nintendojo

Victorious Boxers: Revolution isn't quite a revolutionary title, but it's a fun one nonetheless, save for some Story Mode missteps.- Nintendojo

There are a variety of technical problems with Kung Fu Panda: the camera is wonky, Wii remote motions imprecise, a little buggy and a lazy PS2 port.- Nintendojo

Buena Vista does a remarkable job in setting the difficulty level at a place in which older players like myself are not turned off, while still making sure the experience isn’t so hard as to alienate the younger demographic it outwardly targets.- Nintendojo

Excellent graphics and sound, and one of the best attempts at a 2-D dogfighting game I've seen.- Nintendojo

Doesn’t play as fluently as the AKI games from THQ of yore, and is lacking some elements that would give it some life or charisma.- Nintendojo

The difficulty is much better than previous games in the series, so no need to worry about that if you’ve had horrifying experiences with insanely difficult shooters before (which everyone has.)- Nintendojo

Destiny's Soldier is incredibly faithful to the traditional Mage Knight rules, but this, unfortunately, mostly serves as a reminder of how strategy games have evolved differently on and off of video game systems.- Nintendojo

The platforming can be fun and the rocket ship missions in between are even better. However, considering the extraordinarily short length and simple gameplay, this can only be recommended to a handful of people.- Nintendojo

A foul-tip among baseball games, Sega should have taken a vastly different direction from Acclaim’s sim series if it wanted to succeed with a truly arcade take on the sport.- Nintendojo

Gamers looking for a quick brawler to play with a group of friends are probably better off sticking with Super Smash Bros. Brawl because when it comes down to it, there's just more there. Bummer dude! Total Shellshock!- Nintendojo

Overall, Milanoir is a very fun title. It has a deliciously dark and entertaining storyline, something that even the most expensive AAA games would kill for. It’s also home to some of the most creative use of a pixel art style seen in recent memory. The environments and characters look authentic to the period and drip personality, making all of the twists and turns of Piero’s adventure that much more irresistible to watch unfold. There are some mechanical issues that hold Milanoir back, but don’t let that stop anyone looking for a more unique video game experience from giving it a download from the eShop.- Nintendojo

Overall, Star Overdrive is a game for the right moment. The game can be a blast to traverse with its hoverboard trick mechanics and can be extremely soothing if you want to explore, fight enemies, upgrade and customize your hoverboard and keytar, and solve the mystery of the story. At times, dungeons can feel quite empty and directionless, which does bring down the experience in those moments. However, considering that this is an indie game, this studio did a great job pulling off a game that captures many aspects of exploration and adventure of many of the greats before, while still executing a unique vision that feels like it has its own identity.- Nintendojo

Princess Peach: Showtime! had the potential to be much more than it is. It’s upsetting that it’s so simple and easy, and feels like a waste of the sheer amount of creativity that went into the concept of the theater, plays, and costumes. It’s that creativity that’s preventing me from giving this game a lower score. But on the merits of its gameplay alone (and the fact that it’s not a very long game — I completed it in about 15 hours), this isn’t Nintendo’s strongest showing.- Nintendojo

The core mechanics are perfectly competent and generally fun, the story is a little more solid by the end, and the music is genuinely great throughout. In other words, the adventure proves to be a fairly enjoyable one by the end, it just happens to be punctuated by moments of frustration throughout.- Nintendojo
