Exploring the unexplored we find nothingness. Nihilumbra offers us a variety of puzzles and a good cohesion between the different mechanics, but the challenge that proposes is too simple and won’t satisfy all players. The pessimism of its narrator infects us and we end up seeing the glass as half empty.

Although technically it’s not good and its levels are not very inspired, the level editor is great and some people will create decent levels that skilled players will play.

Manticore: Galaxy on Fire is a space action game where we have to accomplish assignments in a mercenary corps, leaving the story in the background. Its direct action, a decent gameplay and good visual fluidity are the only things that can be highlighted in a title that ends up becoming repetitive and cold in most of its aspects.

The game leave a bittersweet taste on the palate. His script is too simple and as a graphic adventure it constantly stumbles. With the exception of Bertram, its characters are insipid and uninspired, and even so, the story of this episode manages to withstand with the stability of a noodle.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy is a good compilation, although its graphics could be improved. It’s clearly focused on the fans of the manga series that haven’t got the opportunity to enjoy these games before or that want to play them in handheld mode.

The sequel to the OPUS saga is a great little video game that knows its own position in the industry and, above all, what it can offer. Modest but meditated, and without a doubt, with a lot of soul.

Neither is a regular platform game, nor is it a just one more game with the Nintendo’s gorilla. Tropical Freeze is at the top of the Donkey Kong Country saga, with a design of worlds and levels so exceptional that we can’t think of any other 2D platforms as good as this one.

Petite and Ratalaika Games have done an excellent job with the artistic design. With a few shades of colors, they have managed to create that dark environment that will dazzle the player.

The Bunker is a good exponent of the FMV genre that contains an interpretation, plans and a sound environment that have nothing to envy to many movies from the world of cinema and television. However, it’s almost as short as a real movie and some of the interactions that it proposes to us can be improved both in the response of the joystick and in the weight they have in the story.

Thanks to the editor that adds this version of the game we’ll enjoy it for a longer time, trying crazy things and then sharing them. The game has several aspects to improve, but the final result is good enough.

A.O.T 2 is a game that will delight every fan of the series, as it’s loyal to the first part and at the same time innovates by putting the player in the shoes of a new character and in the way of explaining the facts. At a technical level, it’s true that it can be improved in several aspects, but it’s totally compensated by its fun, large amount of content and its cooperative and competitive online modes.

Little Triangle pursues an identity of its own and it achieves its goal, partly. Why? Because none of the aspects that presents is perfected. There are infinitely better alternatives that clearly influenced the game developers of Little Triangle. However, it’s a fun game that 2D platform lovers will enjoy.

Shadow Bug is a fun, addictive game with beautiful graphics. Its control in handheld mode is tremendously effective and it’s ideal proposal to play short games anywhere. A game that you might replay if you’re one of those who love completing challenges up to the 100%. Watch out because you might get attached to it.

Membrane is a game based on puzzles with interesting physics, original mechanics and a unique artistic style. A perfect addition to the long list of puzzle/platform games that the hybrid console has in its eShop, especially oriented to be played on handheld mode.

The basic premise on which the game is based is excellent and well constructed. The first minutes of the game are intriguing, promising. However, all the episodes where the main character has to reconstruct his memories are absolutely insipid and poorly written. Sadly, the interest in the story falls down after the high point reached at the beginning.

Gekido Kintaro's Revenge is a game that will delight fans of "me against the neighborhood", as well as those players who are looking for a challenging and different game within the genre. It’s also tremendously entertaining to play cooperatively with a friend.

Urban Trial Playground is a simple but direct arcade proposal, with a bombproof gameplay that will delight players who enjoy challenges. Its multiplayer mode is a great feature and it’s very fun.

It’s survival horror, but it’s not scary. It’s a puzzle game, but those are not so challenging either. And still, everything fits perfectly. Infernium causes addiction with its difficulty, causes frustration with its graphics, causes anguish with its sound quality and wonders us with its design.

Earthlock is a good RPG for the Nintendo Switch catalog that knows how to provide the playability and duration that is expected in this type of genre, but lacks a better construction of the story and its characters, keeping it from the jump that separates a good game from a memorable one.

Although the erotic content of the game is what stands out the most, it should be mentioned that in terms of gameplay is a fun arcade shooter, perfect for the three game modes of Nintendo Switch. Obviously, if you are against the sexualization of teenagers in video games, this game might annoy you.

Bombslinger manages to bring back the concept that turned Bomberman into a cult saga and endows it with a more interesting story, which embraces the humor towards the conservatives in the south of the States, that humor that TV series such as Family Guy or The Simpsons have shown us in many (and hilarious) chapters.

The game concept is great, but not as much in practice. The gameplay can become tiresome and the graphics are not so great.

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is that kind of games that shows us that Nintendo 3DS is still alive and receiving great titles. Its long duration and a great work in all its aspects makes it an essential in the last years of the console, especially if you are a big fan of the RPG genre.

Swim Out is an acceptable puzzle game. We have seen all kinds of games of this genre, but this one focuses on the classic gameplay of moving around squares deducting the movement of the surrounding objects. Progressively difficult, its art and music designs fit all the swimming.

Detective Pikachu is a good game, friendly and entertaining, mainly focused for the little fans of Pokémon. It has a good sense of humor, but beyond that we are facing a very easy adventure that is not challenging.

Spy Chameleon is definitely one of the best indies on the Switch in the stealth genre. Although, some levels are a bit monotonous and, occasionally, boring. On the other hand, that’s solved due to a gradual increase of its difficulty and the introduction of new mechanics.

We can spend hours and hours playing, alone or with a friend. Easy and replayable, it offers us an endless number of phases, where each game will be totally different from the previous one.

If you like Sin City you have two options: to get angry because you consider that both the story and the art direction are a simple plagiarism, or enjoy it as a tribute to the comic book. In our review, we’ve been postulating for the first option. Luckily, the game has an innovative turn-based role combat system, mixed with match-3 puzzles to have fun during its short durability.

Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is a great platform game, resembling the metroidvania style and standing out for its great artistic design. The story is simple but fun, its charismatic characters and its sense of humor make it an essential within the genre.

Outlast 2 is an adventure that will leave you breathless. It’s exciting from start to finish, now enjoyable wherever we want thanks to the Switch's handled mode. Its new features fit like a glove and, definitely, it’s a game that horror fans shouldn’t miss.

Unfortunately, we’re facing the worst version of this multiplatform game. It’s incomprehensible how they have eliminated the circuit editor and the online mode, leaving us with a lame game.

The greatness of this game relies on its willfulness, trying to carry out a project full of tension, characteristic of the madness and the dilemmas of the science fiction genre. To accomplish that, they introduce insane characters, capable of causing real apprehension, especially accentuated by a good soundtrack. Sadly, all these great ideas fail to amaze us due to a simplistic level design and because it's deprived of terror.

A Hole New World combines the movement mechanics of two worlds that are as different as enjoyable, all justified by its plot. Even though, we can’t consider it as a great example of the genre due to its simplicity, where exploration becomes secondary.

Although the game of Parabole is strongly captivating from the very beginning, the development of its story and the improvable technical work will make the player lose interest. Due to that, the sound quality and interface are relegated to the background, resulting in a game with good ideas that will remain submerged in the snow of Quebec.

Castle of Heart is a game that reminds us that even the greatest adversities can be overcome with the power of love. Inspired by action and platform games from the 90’s, despite its mistakes, CoH is definitely a really entertaining and challenging video game that fans of the genre will be passionate about.

In the beginning, Bleed 2 makes you feel like a noob again to later show you that practice is the secret to master it. Following in its predecessor’s footsteps, this sequel doesn’t take many risks, being continuist on the visuals and the sound, but improving the speed and variety, including an amazing co-op mode where addiction will be the least of your problems.

Kirby Star Allies offers an interesting story, a good length and above all gameplay and mechanics that are truly fun, and some of which are innovative. The multiplayer game is very entertaining and has a good variety of modes.

Unfortunately, the overall look is weak, but the story is interesting and there is a variety of characters, together with a great soundtrack and the accessibility of the mechanics make it into an experience that is addictive and endearing that you can't miss.

It's an option to keep in mind among the racing games on the console, but it ends up coming short in options and content. It has graphics and sound that are very attractive and that make us return to one's childhood, but these are overcome by a very limited length and a scarce range of game modes and challenges.
