Garden Warfare is a fun, addictive third-person action shooter that manages to stay true to the Plants vs. Zombies series.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is no doubt a good game, but fails to deliver all of its promises. Combat mechanics are tailored for core gamers, but besides that the game fails to deliver a correct balance of old and new features, but first of all it's too derivative.

Powered by a single developer, Banished is a unique city-builder game with a strong sandbox component. Deep and technically well done, is a recommended purchase for all fans of the genre.

Sandlot tried to make the best episode ever for Earth Defense Force, delivering a very long campaign that can be played both in single or multiplayer. What a pity the graphics can't get the job done.

Clear Vision 3 brings to the table the same, solid mechanics and some new ideas. You have to pay to get them though.

The game is a really competent "My first adventure" sort of game. Its main points are the links to the old adventures of 80s and 90s and the great respect it shows to the cartoon. Unfortunately it is also a really short experience, and the price you have to afford to buy it, at least in Europe, is not justified at all.

Thief is a good game that fans of the stealth genre will appreciate but it has several gameplay flaws that keep it far from being a new masterpiece.

Inazuma Eleven has not aged very well and with the latest installment (Team Ogre Attacks!) hitting stores right now there's really no reason to dig into the most bastic iteration in the franchise, unless you are an avid Inazuma Eleven fan.

Ys: Memories of Celceta is a solid action RPG which will appeal fans of the franchise and newcomers thanks to some enjoyable characters and plenty of action. It is visually pretty too.

Visual novels do not have a widespread audience, although Danganronpa is one of the most enjoyable we had the chance to play thanks to some well designed minigames which make the experience much more interesting.

Crowman & Wolfboy is a competent autorunner, but you might end up enjoying it more for how it looks and sounds than for how it actually plays.

It might not be the most amazing technical showcase for the new consoles, but still Rayman Legends is a marvelous game and the best 2D platformer out there.

The new Strider isn't maybe the best example of a balanced metroidvania style, but ultimately represents a good actualization of a classic that could have been too old for modern standards.

Fable Anniversary is still a fun game and its drawbacks lay inside the original game's faults and game design choices. Beneath all of these, there's still a fun game worth exploring if you didn't have the chance ten years ago.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is mostly very good, often great, but never brilliant. The lack of fresh ideas and the nonexistent GamePad and Miiverse support makes us think about the real weight of the project.

The beginning is so sweet, with gags to be discovered all over around us. And they almost always deliver. But then, after an hour or so, minigames take over and fun fades away. Still: how many other games make us laugh out loud like this?

Toukiden: The Age of Demons is actually a pretty good "hunting game" but it lacks the exceptional design choices which made our preys in the Monster Hunter series truly great. It's an OK substitute however, once you get over a few nuisances and gameplay issues.
