Doki-Doki Universe is not easy to judge. Although there are more shortcomings to it than you would like and it grates too fast on the same quirks, it's still a sweet and interesting satire of our society which feels a bit out of place as a videogame.

Icycle: On Thin Ice is an exercise of style, a stunning mix of design and direction that will surprise you in each and every level.

Tiny Brains is a very nice action puzzle game, with nice characters and a good variety of situations. What a pity it's so short.

The opening episode is more brutal than ever and does a great job introducing Clementine as the main character, but it falls short when it come to innovation and compelling adventuring.

Angry Birds Go! is colorful, simple and immediate, but also very repetitive.

Escape Plan for PlayStation 4 is a surprisingly good porting of its handheld counterpart with a new control system which is probably not very pristine but also more responsive and sometimes less infuriating.

Peggle 2 lacks courage but it's an extremely funny, colored and satisfying puzzle game. There are some missing parts, like multiplayer leaderboards, but future DLCs should fill the holes.

Heroes of Dragon Age ends up being a game you can hardly say you’re actually playing, with its focus on in-app purchases and a gameplay with way too limited interaction.

If you’re a fan of the original game you can’t obviously miss this add-on but be prepared: it lacks variety and originality.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is a great game on Wii U, but considering the frame rate issues, the absence of DLC support and a somewhat disappointing use of the Gamepad, you might want to stick to the other versions if you have the chance to.

Speedball 2 HD is an atrocious tribute to a great Amiga game. Rest in peace.

Space Hulk is pretty faithful reproduction of the original board game, but it's also too slow, often cumbersome and poorly balanced.

Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse - Episode 1 is only half of the whole game: when it finally catches our attention, the story ends abruptly.

Meltdown does nothing new but in the right way. It's a simple and old fashioned third person shooter with a basic yet addictive progression system for the main character. If you just want to shoot at 360 degrees, rather with another player in coop, then Meltdown is a good choice.

It’s not necessarily good because it’s free: Warframe is a so-so action game with many problems and a pretty scarce lasting appeal.

Wii Fit U is an improvement over the original formula, with some nice new modes and the interesting Fit Meter that gives the chance to get the game at a discounted price.

Blood Knights is a decent action RPG and we appreciated the differences between the two characters, but the combat lacks substance and the overall experience feels too easy and unsatisfactory.

The concept of Band Stars is very intriguing, but the game definitely fails to deliver.

Island Tour is not a step forward for the franchise, but also backward. NdCUBE chose to capitalize on its experience and create funny games for the crowd. Despite a truly forgettable single player campaign, multiplayer still manages to give some chills.

Even without resorting the unforgiving comparison with NBA 2K14 that is enough to raise doubts on possible purchases, NBA Live 14 has many problems on its own, from the AI to the animations and so on. It could be the start of a new course for the EA Sports' basketball series, but it needs some serious overhaul.

It's one of those love-it or hate-it kind of experience: if you're into practicing hard to get hi-scores, Touchgrind Skate 2 is definitely your thing, but otherwise you might want to look elsewhere.

One Piece: Romance Dawn is a mediocre take on the JRPG genre which fails to appeal both fans and newcomers. It's a shame that battle system is quite interesting and some neat ideas are drowned within an ocean of disappointment.

Gran Turismo 6 is a nice evolution over the previous chapter, Polyphony has learned how to deal with the interface and has upgraded the physics and the handling of the cars. It's a pity that the series still lacks in the AI and collision departments, but the content is king and GT 6 has plenty of it.

Playing The Pinball Arcade is as funny as it was in real life during the last century. With lots of tables really existed, it's definitely a must-have for pinball lovers. But they will need to spend some money to enjoy the game.

While the prequel was a pure 3D platformer, Jett Rocket II tries to add a little variety with some 2D/3D gameplay and purely 2D levels. Surprisingly these 2D levels, reminiscent of Mega Man, are the best of the bunch, with a great level design and a touch of old school difficulty.

Ultimate Edition is just like the old gen version, a good fighting game with a deep combat system, and very rich in terms of contents, thanks to all DLCs stuck in the disc. Unfortunately the visuals, with just the 1080p rendering, is not so astonishing as it should be.
