It is an original game, full of adrenaline and pretty enjoyable. The new control system is perfect and the point of view remembers sometimes Mirrors's Edge.

Into the Breach is brilliant: a concentrated display of strategy and well-thought mechanics, perfectly fused in a little marvel of a game.

An action whose hardcore nature is almost innatural for the actual market, and yet able to remain so exhilarating and magnetically attractive that it deserves a spot among the best games of this generation despite its extreme difficulty.

Tekken 8 is an exaggerated game, at times shamelessly and proudly flashy, that has evolved significantly in nearly every aspect, but still has some steps to take in terms of tutorials and content to offer a truly flawless package. Overall, however, it remains an exceptional Tekken, capable of capturing more than ever that spirit which makes this series practically immortal today, and even of walking without stumbling along that thin philosophical line that seeks to please both newcomers and veterans of the series. Of course, the changes to the system are massive, and transformations of this kind can never please everyone, yet we are sincerely convinced that this is currently the most fun fighting game around, not to mention that it will almost certainly be properly supported in the coming years, given the history of its developers.

While remarkable as a meditative and artistic experience, Osmos could not be considered a true winner due to the repetitiveness of his missions and a general lack of excitement for the player.

Shogun II is a great game, able to resume, improve and innovate many of the aspects that made the franchise one of the most appreciated in the world of real-time strategy games. The only true failure is an artificial intelligence that doesn't always impress, but somehow this aspect is compensated for by a much deeper multiplayer component.

Empire: Total War is a must buy for any strategy lover and in general for anyone who owns a PC. Creative Assembly has taken the best aspects of the Total War saga adding new ones that integrate perfectly in the gameplay and the result is a game with wonderfully deep strategy and tactics elements.

If you think Iron Marines as a mobile version of StarCraft, you might be disappointed: but if what you want is a solid, well crafted blend between an RTS and a tower defense game, look no further.

We are certain of this: depending on the approach and perspective of the player, Alan Wake 2 can either be a timeless masterpiece or a cumbersome game with tiring gameplay. We have tried to position ourselves exactly in the middle: while unreservedly appreciating the incredible work done by Remedy on the narrative front and the brilliance infused into some sequences that will forever be etched in our memory, we cannot overlook a series of deficiencies in gameplay that undermine the depth of the survival horror component and the variety of this action-adventure. At the same time, however, there is one thing that will unite everyone: artistically, aesthetically, and technically, no one can match it, and Alan Wake 2 deserves to be observed, at least once, even if just from a distance.

Bug Heroes is an original blend of RTS, shooter and RPG that, despite how strange it could seems, actually works. Not very interesting in terms of story and setting, the deep gameplay make this game a good choice for the expert player.

An amazing entry in the series that incarnates everything that made the Devil May Cry series amazing. It's still not perfect, and even with its extreme replayability some more content would have been appreciated, but any action game fan will go crazy for this gem.

Iceborne is a great expansion which revamps the best features of Monster Hunter World. We would have liked a few more new monsters instead of some variant, however we really can't complain about the hundreds of weapons, armors and collectibles we will gather in the next few months.

Despelote is an interactive documentary about a country, a sport, and a life. It tells the story of Ecuador as it strives for its first-ever qualification for the FIFA World Cup. Julian Cordero narrates the story of Quito, the city where he was born, and the summer of 2001, when everyone became part of a collective experience that carried the Ecuadorian national team to the world stage. It was a moment that transformed football from a quiet backdrop in children’s lives into the main character in the lives of adults. It’s a sincere, delicate work, one that’s hard not to be moved by, even (and especially) if you’re not a football fan.
