Battlefield 3 is what the fans expected, total multiplayer war in huge maps, where tanks, jets and choppers deliver death to the grunts lying on the ground. Unfortunately the rest of the game is not as great as the online mode. The campaign is short and pretty boring, but visually astonishing and the coop is just a simple add-on.

On the iPhone, the game has lost all of its hilarity and satirical message. The gameplay is still very fun, but only the latest levels can offer a real challenge, while the routes are incoherent and not much various.

Complex but not too much, addictive in a good way, Motorsport Manager Mobile 2 is one of the best mobile title of these months, even if you're not very attracted by management or even by the world of race cars.

Pinball FX3 is Pinball FX2 with some technical refinements, better online and a couple of new mechanics. And it's a good game, blessed by tables backward compatibility, but after seven years we were expecting more.

The Beatles Rockband is the first rhythm game who'll have the chance to finally take over Karaokes from pubs and living rooms all over the world. No more impossible solos or songs that only Bruce Dickinson or Robert Plant can sing, but only a lot of fun for whomever will feel like grabbing a guitar or a microphone and sing songs almost everybody learned to love over the years. It's only about Beatles and it's a bit short, but if you get in the mood, it will last forever.

While the first episode delivered a great gameplay without worrying about graphics and user interface, DrawRace 2: Racing Evolved comes as a real AAA title, very polished and stylish, with plenty of races and modes (multiplayer included).

Persona 3 Reload fails to fully capitalize on the potential of the original game, leaving too many of its less successful structural elements unchanged, and daring little in terms of reworking dialogues and events. That said, it rests on foundations so strong that it remains largely enjoyable for anyone today, and the work done by Atlus on mechanics and technical aspects has nevertheless managed to significantly modernize the game. That is enough to dive back into its world, because the story of Persona 3 deserves to be relived many times over, especially in such a carefully crafted and polished package.

Infinity Blade II is easily the new benchmark for iOS gaming; a visual masterpiece, and a huge step forward content wise compared to the first chapter. The gameplay is still the same, so don't bother if you didn't like it last year.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker delivers the classic gameplay of the MGS series, love it or hate it, but the experience on PSP becomes even more cumbersome due to the lack of a second analog stick. It's a "hardcore game", no doubt about it, but all the Snake fans out there shouldn't miss it.

Horizon is a kind of rough diamond. It has great value but some flaws too, especially regarding the voice acting and the fights against humans. Having said that, Guerrilla has managed to create a believable world full of great moments.

NBA 2K11 is the best basketball game ever. The game have top NBA stars performing like their real life counterparts based on distinct character types, a great gameplay with a strong AI and playing the games is very fun, especially Michael Jordan mode and Manager mode. Visual Concepts have improved everything from 2K10 and today NBA 2K11 is the only alternative to real basketball!

If you're looking for an experience like no other, one that can keep you engaged for a solid fifty hours—easily extendable to two hundred—Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a must-have in your collection. Its realism remains a breath of fresh air even today, positively impacting both the gameplay and the rich cast of characters. But most importantly, Warhorse has done an excellent job of making its unique gameplay formula more accessible without sacrificing depth.

The Last of Us Part 1 goes far beyond the sterile debate about the price and the real nature of this remake. The work done by Naughty Dog is majestic and involves every single aspect of the game: from the combat to the artificial intelligence, passing through the enemies and every single menu and interface on the screen. And as if this were not enough, the new technical aspect is stunning, reaching peaks, especially for what concerns the faces and the facial animations, which still today we do not find in other videogame productions.
