From a really strange premise comes an incredibly addictive game: Game Freak has managed to combine classic solitaire with a strategically complex simulation of horse races, generating a gameplay that is fun and surprisingly deep.

Stealth Inc. 2 is all around better than its prequel but there's still room for improvements: the main hub is a neat idea but slows the pace and needs a better layout while puzzles keep being a little too obscure on their trial and error approach.

With an astonishing pixel art style, great integration with Push notifications and an addictive gameplay, Tiny Tower is actually one of the best social games for iPhone and iPad. The game is full of humour, but probably some players will hate the act of repeating and repeating the same tasks again and again.

This edition of FIFA, devoted to the upcoming world soccer championship is not a simple more of the same of the last FIFA, but it's almost a brand new game, blessed by a great visual revamping, and some good fixings to gameplay. It's the best soccer game so far, despite the obvious lack of club teams and some game modes, but it's impossible not to recognize the great work made by Electronic Arts.

Enormous and deep, EVE Echoes is a real MMO reduced in space and interface to dwell inside a smartphone. However EVE Echoes has also some drift towards pay to win, with its subscription program and micro-transactions.

F-Zero 99 currently represents the most richly crafted offering to emerge from the wave of nostalgia-driven endeavors on Nintendo Switch Online. Without deviating from the original formula, the company has chosen to set it against an immensely entertaining backdrop that nods to battle royale dynamics, creating a fast-paced and immediately addictive experience. On one hand, it serves as the perfect hook to introduce newcomers to the essence of the series, and any longtime fan should definitely give it a chance; on the other hand, experiences of this kind have been known to fade prematurely without a trace. The hope is that it will prove to be a small yet enjoyable interlude, paving the way for the series' grand return, perhaps alongside the Grande N's new console.

Shift 2 Unleashed is a double-faced game. Besides good visuals, an incredible helmet view, realistic handling and a revamped career, we also find terrible A.I. in different ways so unfair, stupid and unpredictable, that it turns a race into a destruction derby.
