PixelJunk Shooter 2 is a very nice puzzle shooter, packed with stylish graphics and sounds. The game can be very frustrating at times, but also very rewarding.

Nintendo, porting these classics to Nintendo Switch, could have been more ambitious. Anyway, we should never forget that this collection has one great game and two masterpieces.

High quality level design and music deliver a funny adventure with the lovely Shantae; this quest is a truly enjoyable one, even if it ends a little bit earlier than expected.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is the sequel we have been waiting for so long, nothing more and nothing less. An evolution of the first chapter in every respect, capable of engaging us in furious battles against endless hordes of enemies, embracing the mechanics of an improved and spectacular combat system.

Dragon Age II is probably something worse than its prequel, Origins, but it remains a wonderful RPG that tries to simplify the gameplay to be more comfortable to the action players.

Sigma is an original puzzle game tetris-style. The game is simple but funny, and the low price is another reason to buy it if you like this genre.

Syder Arcade was an extremely enjoyable shooter on PC, and this iOS version is even better thanks to precise controls and a terrific price.

If you love the 4X genre, you have to try Endless Legend, even only for the combat system.

Super Time Force Ultra is a decent porting for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game experience is either fast and tactical thanks to time travelling and there are many different characters to control, each one with his own skills.

Solitairica is a fun and original little game: a convincing mix between Solitaire, RPG and roguelike that feels perfectly at home on mobile platforms.

A wonderful world awaits you with beautiful art, superb soundtrack and a unique gameplay. Unfortunately Pyre loses itself after a few hours, becoming repetitive and losing appeal. It's a shame that online multiplayer is missing, it would have been one of the best feature to keep alive the game after the single player campaign.​

The Banner Saga 3 ends the epic tale by Stoic Studios, bringing once time again the same inspired visuals and narrative. There is nothing really new in terms of gameplay, but if you liked the previous entries it will be fine.

Hitman 2 delivers an intense, compelling experience that pushes the boundaries of the stealth genre, packed with huge, wonderfully crafted maps.

Terraria on Nintendo Switch is the same almost perfect game that has always been.

Sky: Children of the Light also arrives on Nintendo Switch: it's free, and slightly better than the smartphone versions.

The Ramp is a small game. Nonetheless, it is capable of entertaining for an undefined number of hours thanks to its flow-oriented, goal-less nature.

Death Stranding is a new masterpiece from Hideo Kojima. You need to accept its slow and repetitive gameplay to appreciate the plot and the marvelous setting.

The heritage of a masterpiece such as Okami is a big burden, which Okamiden somewhat fails to fully carry on its shoulders: however, the game is so beautiful and inspiring that's easily forgiven, and it's definitely one of the best adventures on the Nintendo DS.

Space Invaders Extreme 2 uses the dual screen in the right way, improving the already excellent gameplay that characterized the first episode of the series. The game is immediate and engaging, with a good balance of difficulty and an awesome mix of graphics and sound.

Skullgirls is an intriguing surprises in the fighting game genre, with a charming roster and a stunningly accessible tutorial.

With Monster Mayhem a new kind of action game is born: the Tower Offense. So no passive defense, no war machines set in a battle camp, no position strategy; only violence, weapons and armament management, but of course with smile. Blood and comicality are wisely mixed in this game and if you are bored about the classic "tower defense" games, this is what you are looking for.

A shaky balance between fluid graphics and a gameplay not so convincible with too much leak.

Gloomhaven is a great way to bring the boardgame powerhouse to the PC and let many players enjoy its strategic and puzzle structure.

The Vale is much more than a videogame: it's an astonishing experience which reinvents some key aspects in video games that are taken for granted.
