Gylt is an entry level horror video game. From puzzles, to combat, to stealth phases, everything is deliberately simple and easy to understand. Never too scary, nor in any way gory it is a game suitable for newcomers to the genre. For this reason, as well, do not expect particularly brilliant and original ideas and features.

If you loved Oxenfree, you can't not play this Oxenfree II: Lost Signals, especially because it carries on (and ends?) a story that still has several things to say and several mysteries to reveal.

Jagged Alliance 3 is an excellent game, better than all the more recent installments. Let's say that since 1999, the year of Jagged Alliance 2, we haven't had this much fun with a game from the series. We're talking about an engaging title with a campaign that can last for dozens of hours and certain aspects of the experience that are truly deep. If it weren't for the entry difficulties and some absurdities on the battlefield, it would have been a masterpiece. As it is, though, it's still a great game that can provide a lot of satisfaction.

Noob - The Factionless is a very generic JRPG that mimics an MMORPG, based on a semi-obscure web series in Italy. It's long but very superficial, never really delving deep into its storytelling or the game structures it parodies. In some cases, it even feels outdated, considering that the series dates back to the end of two decades ago and the gaming world has changed tremendously since then. It's only worth it if you're looking for a light experience with a weak meta-narrative.

Doom & Destiny Worlds is a cute open world gar with survival elements lots of crafting and a simple but ingenious combat that is a victim of its own terrible humor.

Dave the Diver is much more than the sum of its individual components. It lacks originality and is never particularly deep in its various mechanics, but the end result is a game with excellent pacing, fun, dense with content and continues to come up with new ideas even after hours and hours.

Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is undoubtedly the best mobile tie-in of the Wizarding World: a particularly rich and well-crafted title, overflowing with references to the saga created by J.K. Rowling and featuring distinctive atmospheres and designs, in many ways close to those of Tim Burton's feature films.

Simple, fun and entertaining, Everybody 1-2-Switch! is a party game that lives up to its own hype. It's really just that, end of the period.

Nocturnal is a short but intense, stylish metroidvania action platformer that delivers fun mechanics, visceral combat and intense platforming sections based on timing and reflexes, but at the same time it's got many trial & error moments, sometimes unresponsive controls and just a few different boss fights. Oh, and it's very short: is that a problem for you?

While the race mechanics can be a little underwhelming, there's a good depth in the management systems of Jet Dragon, directly derived from the Japanese horse race simulation genre. The charming characterizations help to drive interest in this strange but enjoyable game.

Aliens: Dark Descent is a nasty and ruthless strategy game, just like the Xenomorphs.

ProtoCorgi starts with a very nice idea and implements it in an interesting way, but the end result appears only half successful. The solutions found by the developers regarding collision detection and enemy positioning, in fact, didn't click on us. Of course, at such a low price a scrolling shooter starring a corgi should be bought on principle.

Crime O'Clock is undoubtedly a highly successful game that provides approximately ten hours of relaxation and entertainment. It engages players with well-established mechanics blended with novel elements that make its formula more distinctive. It will certainly appeal to fans of hidden object games and those seeking a relaxing and well-crafted experience, accompanied by a compelling narrative aspect.

Pikmin 1 and 2 are still excellent RTS, ideal for fans of the genre and newcomers alike. The Nintendo Switch adaptation does not add much and graphically more could have been done, but it is the perfect appetizer in anticipation for Pikmin 4.

Kodama delivers a great game once again: a good cast of characters, a unique combat system and a strange atmosphere make for a solid entry in the Too Kyo production list.

AEW: Fight Forever is a big wish I can't. The technical deficiencies are evident and demonstrate how the software house's Achilles heel remains the technical aspect of its works. Conceptually, the game re-proposes the madness and the possibility of customizing the gaming experience that had made the first wrestling titles great in the 2000s. But the technical limitations of the gameplay mark the first AEW work. Perhaps the future of the brand will be brighter, but in the meantime the first chapter will struggle to remain etched in the memory of the players.

Ghost Trick: Ghost Detective has stood the test of time brilliantly, which is funny considering that this is an adventure about a guy with the power to rewind the clock by four minutes, as well as control certain objects with his soul. The quality of the story, the beautiful characters and the excellent art direction shine through thanks to this remaster.

Fun, quick, an absolute joy to play: despite not having multiplayer, Dr Fetus Mean Meat Machine is a game that shines out there.

We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie is an excellent remastered game that also features some new levels. Newbies will fall in love with the Prince's wacky epic. Veterans will find the same game loved in 2005, enhanced by high-definition and new levels.

It's a little simplified, compared to the great classics of city building, but Cityscapes: Sim Builder is a convincing and portable take on a classic formula.

Undawn is a very rich and multifaceted survival on paper, but in practice it turns out to be a modest, slow, claudicant experience.

Crash Team Rumble is fun and undeniably based on a good idea, since it tries to translate the classic platforming of Crash Bandicoot into a whole new multiplayer experience, however the absence of other modes and heroes, and mostly a lot of balance issues, deeply affect the outcome of the experiment crafted by Toys for Bob.

The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales presents an excellent basic idea and is, in general, well executed in its various parts. Just as the bookwalker is sucked into the various books in which he must venture, so it is difficult for the player to leave the adventure before its conclusion, as it manages to be engaging and inviting in its intrigues and mysteries. Narrative and exploratory aspects certainly prevail, while combat is the weak point of the experience. We would have liked an expansion of some elements of the plot, in our opinion not properly exploited, but we would recommend without reservation The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales to those who want to live a series of adventures that reinterpret in a different light myths and great classics of literature.

Mars First Logistics is a game with a clear idea and puts it across very well. It is designed for those who like to create, for those who are patient and don't mind a low paced adventure. It is never too complex and never too easy, although it is certainly not extremely varied either since you "only" have to lift and move from start to finish. Its Early Access nature also promises to expand an already adequate content package. [Early Access Score = 85]

Final Fantasy 16 finds itself at the center of a paradox: it's so close and yet so far from the ideal excellence level always pursued by the saga. It's the best installment of the series in many years, sporting a wonderful plot which pays honor to the classics, creating an extraordinary game universe and a roster of incredible characters. At the same time, the rhythm is unbalanced and imperfections constantly emerge: the devs went all-in on the magnificent spectacularization of the series essence, but they forgot a lot of unreplaceable components. In this hurricane of contradictions, the game still manages to achieve the most important result: it's the modern chapter which stands the closest to the historic roots of the saga.

Sonic Origins Plus is a title that should not be missing in the collection of any fan of the very fast blue hedgehog and SEGA mascot: it updates the historical chapters of the franchise to high definition, in an always respectful operation that enriches graphics and mechanics. It must also be said, however, that we are dealing with the exact same offer as last year, with the addition of Amy as a playable character and twelve titles dedicated to Sonic and Tails from the Game Gear era.

Park Beyond has a very powerful theme park editor and gives the player a great deal of freedom. Unfortunately, the management component is not as deep and lacks unpredictability, two things that limit the longevity of this type of experience.

Trepang2 is a game with very little original ideas but with a gameplay so badass and fun that it doesn't matter if the story is banale and the mechanics are familiar. So many genres are present in this shooter and the combat si so well made that, somehow, everything works to deliver a fun shooter with a lot of replayability.
