A very linear action RPG with muddled combat system, technical glitches and nasty script, Cyanide game never manage to entertain. Maybe is not time yet for Orcs glory, just leave this duo alone.

Swansong is clearly an ambitious and passionate game. Unfortunately, it's also not a great one, due to a rollercoaster of a narrative with more lows than highs, weak production values, and some baffling choices here and there. It's still a pretty enjoyable experience, especially for fans of the World of Darkness, but this universe deserves more.

Restaurant Empire doesn't offer a main course very different from the first episode, but is certainly a good management game. The two campaigns are long and challenging but the game leaves a strange taste in your mouth, you definitely like it but actually you think that something special is missing.

As for the previous releases, the third chapter in the series seems just one part of a biggest game, split to be sold three times: Descent It's very close to the other episodes and thanks to a good level design It's possible the best one. That said there are a several better top-down shooters and one of them, Alien Swarm, It's free too.

Need for Speed: The Run is a classic arcade racer, with some nice graphics and a decent gameplay. The single player campaign can be beaten in only a couple of hours and there's no online multiplayer, so the whole experience could be very short and insubstantial.

Comic Workshop isn't a bad software, but it's difficult to understand its ideal target. It's too difficult for beginners (there are no drawing or storytelling lessons) and too limited for professionals.

There's something genuine and nostalgic about Iron Maiden: Legacy of the Beast, along with what seems like true love for the band. You can't expect too much depth in a free-to-play RPG based on the license of a heavy metal band, but inside this limits, Roadhouse Games has managed to build something remarkable.

Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator is a strange but compelling simulation. Under an old school graphics and a cumbersome UI, it lies a well written story and a deep stocks and trading game.

Kholat is a visually wonderful horror game that allows players to give their own explanation of the events. It is however frustrating because of limited movements, unavoidable deaths and an unclear plot.

Accel World vs Sword Art Online isn't a great game. We recommend it only if you are a huge fan of both series. Bandai Namco released in the past few months really better RPG's based on Kirito and friends adventures, go with those ones.

*Thick as Thieves, however, doesn't even attempt to challenge this premise; on the contrary, it offers a truly classic interpretation of this subgenre—one characterized by predetermined, repetitive routes, guards who forget about you after a mere few seconds, and alarm systems that are nowhere to be found. The problem is that the randomized placement of objects does nothing to fundamentally alter the two maps, which—once explored inside out—have very little left to offer.

It's cool to drive on Barcellona's ramblas, chasing down enemy's vehicles, hijacking cars and destroying city's environment. This funny curious mix of GTA and Driver, starring Vin diesel, has a lot of different missions, pretty good visuals but sometimes is plagued by an awful artificial intelligence, especially in the on foot sessions.

STRAFE is a gore fest with very old graphics, fast paced first person shooting and roguelike mechanics. Slightly unbalanced and maybe too rough for some players, it's still a worthy and pleasantly ironic homage to the nineties.

The main issue of Command & Conquer 4 is its worthless single player campaigns, too short and just not fun as they were supposed to be. Multiplayer modes are a far better experience, both in cooperative and competitive, but the overall product remains inferior to other good strategy games out this year.

FBC: Firebreak unfortunately fails to impress: despite the undeniable talent of the team at Remedy Entertainment, this co-op shooter set in the Control universe has very little in common with Jesse Faden’s gripping adventure, opting instead to deliver an experience that feels not only underdeveloped but also poorly presented. There are certainly enjoyable moments, and with the right team (you can invite friends via code, by the way) everything becomes more fun, but the content is undeniably sparse, the progression far too slow, and the action quickly becomes repetitive.

Aphelion is the most classic of DON'T NOD's games. On paper, but also in practice, it lacks everything to be a good title, but at the same time it lacks the magic, the originality, the quality necessary to shine. While Remember Me and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden undoubtedly represent two of the French studio's finest achievements, not to mention the usual Life is Strange, this sci-fi adventure falls behind those titles. While there are no major flaws, and while the game strives to offer sci-fi fans an experience comparable to Interstellar, Solaris, or Deliver Us Mars, for a game primarily focused on story, it lacks a twist, a completely convincing and engaging level of writing, and the digital direction and top-notch sound are all missing. The gameplay is just okay, completely lacking in depth and even repetitive over long periods, especially in the sections where you play as Ariane. With Pragmata and Saros vying for the attention of sci-fi fans, Aphelion risks coming away with more broken bones than it deserves. It's not a bad game, but it certainly chose the worst time of year to try to win over genre fans with its slim, yet undeniable, qualities.

A faulted, but interesting first effort from the Italian team named Storm in a Teacup. A deep and moving adventure a bit too thin on the gameplay side and with a few tech issue which is still worth your time.
