Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India improves almost everything from the first chapter, expanding the gameplay and making the experience more compelling.

King's Bounty 2 is an excellent title overall, which owes much of its ability to thrill to his strategic side.

Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires is one of the best entries in the saga: the combat system of the regular titles combined with some of the more strategy-like elements of the Empire series, and the ability to customize characters make this game a good title for the fans.

Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines is in many ways the fulfillment of a dream: a portable version of Assassin's Creed that loses as little as possible in terms of graphics and freedom of movement. The result is a product of good quality, a little short (the total length would be around six to seven hours) and plagued by some problems about the controls and the camera.

The Godfather 2 is a great improvement in comparison to the first installment, but it has some flaws that keep the game from excellence. The Don's view works and it's well devised, unfortunately the game is too tedious hours after hours , the A.I. is a little bit broken and the visuals aren't top notch.

Dungeon Hunter 4 is the best episode of the series. An awesome dungeon crawler with plenty of quests, weapons, collectibles and upgrades, but with one huge shortcoming: the overwhelming presence of IAPs.

The idea of celebrating a tribute to Castle of Illusion while applying the Epic Mickey formula is nice, but the execution leaves too much to be desired.

A repetitive yet addictive hack'n'slash game which offers an engaging loot system and a good co-op mode. Fanservice is brilliant and fans of Tolkien's works will have a good time reading through tons of dialogues and meeting a few beloved characters. You will not keep playing it for long but it will be fun until it lasts.

Obscuritas' atmosphere's good and the game runs better than Pineview Drive, even though it would've gained more from a better graphical optimization. Heavy backtracking and strange gameplay choices are its most back-settling features, barely bearable.

Flirting with delicate subjects, The Suicide of Rachel Foster manages without excessive pathos to tell us a gripping and disturbing story. It sometimes turns the player into an inactive spectator, perhaps a little too much, but we enjoyed exploring this decaying hotel that holds a major place in the game. The adventure is not very long, but it's long enough to become attached to the characters.

The PC version of Lost Planet 2 solves some problems present on consoles, offering some excellent visuals thanks to the DirectX 11 support. Unfortunately, the developers could not remedy to the flaws of the original game (interesting plot but anonimous characters, several short missions in the single player campaign and a mediocre AI), but the combat system is still excellent and there are plenty of nice multiplayer modes. If you loved the first Lost Planet, this sequel won't disappoint you, definitely.

FIFA 11 on the Nintendo DS delivers poor graphics, mediocre AI and a series of problems that afflict the overall experience in different ways. However, the online multiplayer is still there and works well, the additional buttons via touch screen provide a good number of options during the matches and the controls via d-pad seem to be accurate enough.

Has-Been Heroes has some good ideas but it gets boring pretty fast. Despite that it offers a really great challenge to players who wants to test their strategic skills. The game gives its best with Nintendo Switch portability.

Chocobo GP is a well-designed racing game: pleasant to see, fun to play, with an excellent track design and at least two interesting ideas. We refer to the possibility of upgrading the weapons, which increases the strategic component of the race, and to the online elimination mode, which involves 64 players (also accessible through the Lite edition, free). The main limitations lie in the number of tracks (nine, excluding variants of the same) and in the multiplayer from the same system, limited to two users (we imagine for stability problems). In general, we would have wished for greater courage in detaching ourselves from Mario Kart: excluding the innovations already mentioned, every single element is translated from the Nintendo game. Which is richer, more beautiful and deeper in just about every aspect.

Are you still playing SOCOM on PS2? OK, that's the only way you can enjoy SOCOM: Confrontation on PS3 since the game has no single player campaign and it offers multiplayer modes only. The gameplay appears to be too simplified for a modern third person shooter, as you have no chance to hide and shoot. The updates fixed most of the problems, but expect some lag and bugs when you're in a 32 players match. If you were waiting for a nextgen SOCOM episode, well, keep on waiting.
