Revenge of the Savage Planet is a fun game like we haven’t seen in a while, but it holds a great deal of untapped potential. The shift from first-person to third-person perspective brings many promising ideas, yet it turns out to be a double-edged sword that makes the gameplay feel less precise and less challenging than before. From a game with such a wild universe, a similar gameplay foundation, and so many years since the previous title, we expected something more — perhaps a standout concept or a weapon you'd never forget. It loses momentum along the way, but chances are you’ll finish it in just three evenings. Playing solo doesn’t diminish the experience, but if you’re looking for a new co-op adventure — and it even supports split-screen for close-quarters fun — you might just have found the game for you.

A lot of content for all the fans and an appreciated level up in terms of difficulty of the gameplay. It’s bad that the pathfinding problems weren’t fixed.

The visuals are stunning, the mechanics are good, the fights are crazy and the Ultimate Team is a great evolution, but the Career Mode lacks emotion and it's too short to entertain us. Also, the learning curve and the character progression are far from perfection.

Pocket Academy is probably Kairosoft's deepest and most polished sim actually in the App Store, with a lot of things to do and a huge attention to students' characterization. However, it's also another example of disengagement from a developer that continues to reuse the same engine over and over, without taking real advantage of the technology behind iPhone and iPod Touch.

With this expansion, Bethesda partially redeems itself in the face of Fallout 3 fans' so high expectations, pulling out a much better effort than the one provided for Operation Anchorage. The main problem seems to lie in the way these expansions are structured, which doesn't allow them to fully exploit Fallout 3 potential. The ones who devoured the main quest, will probably like The Pitt.

Everybody's Golf is another addictive installment in the lucky franchise and one of the best launch games for PlayStation Vita. It packs a lot of content in single and multiplayer modes; however it doesn't fully support most of Vita's hardware features and it shows a somewhat lack of creativity with its recycled playfields and visuals.

While Sims 3 on console is a good port on its own, you won't ever get rid of the sensation that a joypad is the real way to enjoy the sims experience.

Beyond the mere retro-chic, Bit.Trip Runner is a fast paced and addictive running game that is able to wake up the original spirit of a videogamer, through its simple concept. Sometimes frustrating but definitely something to try.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles 2 stands out as a clearly superior sequel compared to the first game. The credit goes to the greater amount of source material available, which allowed CyberConnect2 to craft a much richer and more engaging Story Mode, bringing to the screen some truly impressive sequences from both a technical and artistic standpoint. Moreover, the game benefits from a series of improvements related to its structure and content, which appear significantly more substantial and compelling.

A lengthy and solid adventure awaits in Elliot Quest; the only problem is the clear frustration which derives from the total sense of no direction given by the game.

It is an interesting experiment, if not without issues. It's basically a Professor Layton clone with rhythm-games instead of puzzles, and yet it doesn't balance as much as well mini-games and storytelling. While not flawless, it's still a reccomended purchase to both fans of the genre and the Professor Layton franchise.

Cubed Rally Racer looks like an experiment for testing Unity3d rather than a finished and polished game. The colourful graphics, the retro style feeling and the randomness of the tracks are totally ruined by the awful and frustrating control schemes. The OpenFeint integration is fine but we miss the lack of a real multiplayer mode.

The Expanse: A Telltale Series is a carefully curated product that stays true to the TV series. Cara Gee's performance is sensational and the supporting characters are exquisitely written. However, the narrative twists and turns are predictable and the plot uneven in pace. Paradoxically, it might appeal more to those who have never seen the tv show.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance works as a whole, less in its single mechanics. It is not easy to explain how a game can be unforgettable and flawed at the same time, but sooner or later the world of video games will have to start to deal with the philosophical truth that perfection is sterile.

Resident Evil 4 is a great classic that does not arrive in good condition on Xbox One because of a poor HD implementation. Capcom should be much better than this. Anyway, the game is suitable for those that have missed the original and don't have anymore the original consoles.
