The strange premise of Aegis Defenders is kept up on its feet by its consistent gameplay mechanics and beautiful aesthetics. Some flaws come from balance and repetition, but this is definitely a strange idea put in practice in a good way.

The episode starts with the narrative on hold. But when it reaches its middle point it gets on track and we can enjoy a long investigation all action and puzzles. Something happens, at last.

Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle is built on a good foundation as a simple yet fun and addictive puzzle game. The idea is basic and strong as the fifteen puzzle, but presented with the strange mixture of horror and cutesy.

Mutazione has a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere and talks about nature and spirituality. Nevertheles is very limited in terms of gameplay and interaction.

Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is the spiritual sequel to Bloodstained and Castlevania, an interesting but not without flaws action platformer.

Not just a simple remake of the classic, Contra Rebirth is a genuine, all-new injection of classic arcade action. More committed to the hardcore and nostalgic audience, it's nonetheless a great and classy production by Konami.

L.A. Noire still delivers a solid, compelling experience, improving the original graphics in many ways.​

With Desperate Escape, Capcom wanted to provide extreme action to Resident Evil 5 fans and they mostly succeeded in every respect. It's a bit too simply structured for its own good and storytelling is really too simple compared to main game and other DLC's in the series, but it's still a competent and fun effort.

Is this conversion of Modern Warfare worth the wait? Frankly, no. Wii owners were expecting a more polished game, though the well-known technical limitations of the Nintendo console, while this one comes with mediocre graphics and unresponsive controls.

A sequel usually tends to be bigger and better: however, Pocket Trains doesn't follow this rule, ending in having less depth and much more focus on IAPs if compared to the overall better Pocket Planes released last year.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is an excellent remake that significantly enhances the narrative of the original game, giving an unprecedented depth to the characters and modernizing the gameplay just enough to make it enjoyable and engaging.

Miasmata is a great experience for survival gamers, where you will fight more against the island than monsters.

Weird West's fascinating universe isn't enough to cover its many flaws. While the sheer chaos of certain situations is fun, the game has clear balancing and structural problems, aggravated by bad AI and other technical problems. A pity, because the potential for an indie pearl was definitely there, and it remains a positive experience even with all its fallacies.

Aside from a few issues with the core gameplay, Pokkén Tournament is an enjoyable yet charming fighting game for fans and enthusiasts alike. Limited by a somewhat uninspired roster and very blurry visuals, it's a solid base to evolve from.

A classical game ported with love and a lot of good ideas. Heartily recommended to shoot'em up fans.

Monster Wars is a dark clone of Legendary Wars, so it's funny and full of strategic and RPG elements. However, it's not a real sequel, but something like a parallel project without really original content.

Syder Arcade is a beautiful shoot'em up inspired by some classic Amiga 500 titles, like Project X and Uridium 2.

Volgarr The Viking is a very difficult but enjoyable platform game. You have to try it if you have loved Rastan Saga or another platform arcade game from the eighties/nineties.

Extremely beautiful to see, the game has a lot of problems in terms of gameplay and a freemium mechanism that's too pervasive.

Resident Evil: Revelations 2 - episode 2 gives few emotions in narrative terms, but at least improves the overall system in terms of gameplay. Also, there are still opportunities for further enhancements.

It's a nice remake of a beloved browser game which offers simple and good old-school platforming action with just the right challenge.

Werewolves Within shows us that virtual reality games shouldn't necessarily bring people to new worlds or in extreme conditions. They can also bring us around a campfire, just talking with other players and enjoying all the fun that this game can offer!

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero an impressive 2D platformer, with an immersive soundtrack, very nice cel-shaded graphics and a solid gameplay. The game makes consistent us of backtracking and that doesn't always feel good, but we really appreciated its "old school" approach.

The Elder Scrolls: Summerset might try to scratch that The Elder Scrolls itch we are all getting lately. It tells a good story, it offers new contents for new and returning players, it unlocks a new line of interesting spells and abilities.
