Forza Horizon 6 is exactly what the community has been dreaming of for a decade: the pinnacle of arcade driving transposed onto the backdrop of Japan. Playground Games' Tokyo is dense and technically superb—capable of delivering breathtaking vistas even on the Series S—yet it is impossible to ignore a sense of "stagnation" that feels perhaps a bit excessive. The structure, progression, and even the prologue faithfully mirror what was already seen in the Mexico of Forza Horizon 5; this risks making the sequel feel more like a majestic expansion than a true revolution. Not that this is a bad thing! [Hands-On Impressions]

Fire Emblem Shadows is not only a poor Fire Emblem game, but also a game that isn’t very fun. The strategic possibilities during matches are reduced to a minimum, and even the investigative component, meant to uncover the team’s traitor, fails to trigger engaging dynamics.

Hotel Barcelona is unfortunately a big disappointment. Technically, it needs improvement, the plot and characters have nothing to say to us, and there is never that madness or strangeness that one would expect from Swery and Suda51. The gameplay is banal and gets in its own way with poor design choices or choices that cancel each other out, resulting in a linear roguelite that can be completed in 5 hours.

The PC version of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth adopts some bizarre solutions regarding the graphics settings and certain options are still missing, but in terms of performance the game already appears very well optimized and potentially scalable on different types of configurations...Of course, beyond the purely technical aspects there is the great substance of an adventure that will certainly be able to involve you for dozens and dozens of hours, thanks to an almost always brilliant narrative section, an even more exciting hybrid combat system and the charm of an open world full of things to do and see.

Lightyear Frontier is a solid game already in Early Access, but still poor in content. A dozen hours or so are enough to get to the 'finale', but the problem is that the gameplay loop repeats itself too linearly, with no surprises or variations on the theme. It remains an enjoyable game for a few hours and absolutely succeeds in its intention of not being stressful, but those who are experts in the genre will find it too limited and may want to wait for a few more updates before approaching it. The Walking Dead: Destinies is a real disaster. Graphics, level design, combat system, game physics, it's hard to find anything that works as it should. The possibility of changing the story from that of the TV series is interesting, but this is not enough to recommend it to even the most die-hard fan of the brand.

It's unclear if Fntastic genuinely attempted to bring their dreams to life, paying the price for their inexperience, or if the project was conceived from the beginning as an asset flip. The game is simply terrible being poor in every of its aspects, although we can't deny that The Day Before, as many games released on Steam in early access, had an hidden potential. Unfortunately, we will never see it realized. [Early Access Score = 2/10]

Space Cats Tactics is clearly a project of a passionate person, but one who was unable to provide a sufficient product. The Kickstarter page shows how there were many other ideas that would perhaps have made the game a little deeper and more interesting, but the funds did not come through. The end result is a dull strategy game at the best of times and at the mercy of the randomness of enemy AI at the worst of times. Add in a few technical problems, an ignorable storyline, and an amateurish graphical presentation at various junctures, and we have on our hands a game that we just cannot recommend even to the biggest fan of the genre.

If it weren't for the combat system and all the other systems connected to it, Testament could have been interesting. It's a pity that fighting is the core of the experience (it will occupy more than 80% of the gameplay time), so you'll understand that we're not talking about a secondary issue that can be overlooked. However, resources don't seem to be lacking, in the sense that if it were modulated differently, it could have been an excellent independent title. It just needed to aim lower, avoiding getting entangled in trying to imitate models that are simply too advanced for it.

Mars First Logistics is a game with a clear idea and puts it across very well. It is designed for those who like to create, for those who are patient and don't mind a low paced adventure. It is never too complex and never too easy, although it is certainly not extremely varied either since you "only" have to lift and move from start to finish. Its Early Access nature also promises to expand an already adequate content package. [Early Access Score = 85]

Postal 4 doesn't disappoint expectations: those looking for gratuitous violence, vulgarity and bad taste satire will find bread for their teeth. Results that are obtained using the winning basis of the second episode, structured in five levels for as many days of the week: a little more originality would not have hurt. Unfortunately, the technical problems are too obvious to overshadow: poor optimization, graphics bordering on indecent and numerous bugs still make it look like an embryonic title, despite three years of development.
