Medal of Honor is a good alternative to the Call of Duty series even if it doesn't add anything new to the mix. Due to its very short single player campaign, buy it only if you're planning to spend many hours online.

A great action game and surely the best zombie game this generation, so far.

Shank is too short and easy for a 1200 points Arcade. It sports very nice graphics and an immediate gameplay, but after a couple of levels it rapidly wears out becoming quite boring even with its offline co-op.

One of the best games of the year and a very long and compelling experience. Too bad for some nasty bugs, that we hope will be fixed soon.

Hydrophobia could have been much better if it only included horror elements and a more involving story. What we've got instead is an uninspired game, even uncapable of making us feel what its title suggests: the main character's fear of water.

A great game, highly enjoyable both off and online thanks to new modes like the player-coach one and the goalkeeper career and a great improvement in player control and AI.

Codemasters managed to recreate the main aspects of the F1 championship, with a very good and enjoyable career, a driving model suitable for both newbies and expert drivers and great graphics expecially in wet conditions. Too bad fore some annoying bugs that worsen the overall experience.

Halo: Reach finds its strength in a varied and balanced gameplay, a deep and dramatic story and gorgeous environments, aside from the many multiplayer modes with virtually infinite customization possibilities. We're only left with a little bit of delusion for the lack of really surprising and memorable moments during the story, like the ones the series accustomed us to. Notwithstanding, Bungie closes its run on Halo with a great game that both fans and newcomers will find highly satisfying.

Mafia II is a great game, crafted with incredible care by its developers. If you're looking for a game with a strong story and a great shooter component, don't think twice about buying it. Just don't expect a myriad of side missions typical of other free roaming activities: this is a very story-driven and linear experience.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is a good and entertaining Arcade game, especially if played in local co-op. Too bad the game doesn't support (yet, at least) online co-op too.

Uber Entertainment did a good job on creating Monday Night Combat, wisely mixing many of the best elements of online multiplayer shooters and adding a strong co-op component. It's an entertaining and energetic game, and it'll be able to conquer every shooter fan.

Castlevania: Harmony of Despair is a valuable game, especially for its multiplayer co-op and survival modes. But if you're looking for a deep and fascinating single player experience, you'll be disappointed by the extremely high difficulty and complete lack of any plot.

DeathSpank maintains Gilbert's creative and ironic vein, making a parody of many of the fantasy RPG clichés. The co-op mode, great graphics, very enjoyable gameplay and a very good longevity (for an Arcade game) make DeathSpank a worth buy.

This new FPS by Zombie Studios is enthralling, original and frenetic: a different shooter with a good online mode, even if partly ruined by campers.
