An entertaining, highly varied and technically excellent pool game, even if lacking in innovation or new elements for its genre.

Halo 4 is an emotional rollercoaster, an amalgam of epic scenes and memorable surprises with clockwork-perfect gameplay and a stunning artistic/technical production. The Halo everyone was waiting for.

AC III successfully fulfills fans' expectations, satisfyingly bringing to and end the main plots open in the previous games and introducing some spectacular news over an already rich play offering. We would have liked a less rushed storytelling on Desmond's side with more action missions, while the historic setting could prove to be not as charming for European gamers; it's however a great new episode in Ubisoft's series and a sure must buy.

Skylanders Giants builds on the already good first game adding more polish and a better difficulty balance. It doesn't change the game structure much and gameplay mechanics, but the young gamers won't complain about it. Undoubtedly one of the best games of the season to play with your children.

A nice take on the usual RPG formula, with a great story and good graphics even if the the gameplay and combat system fail to fully persuade.

There's nothing in 007 Legends that would drive us to advise it. With a lackluster plot, many gameplay problems, short story and shoddy graphics it won't fly off stores shelves despite the name it brings.

Doom 3 still manages to give us some great emotions, but it didn't age too well and the always present flashlight just worsens the general feeling.

One of the best sports game around, complete in every aspect and with some nice surprises like the GM Connected feature that we'd like to see it carried in other titles too.

Entertaining, fulfilling and never frustrating, Forza Horizon manages to mix the series' well known realism with the light-hearted enjoyment only a free-roaming racer can deliver, becoming probably the best game in the genre so far.

NBA 2K13 manages to build on the already stratospheric levels reached last year, confirming it as one of the best, if not the very best, sports game around. Unmissable.

A valid managerial game, deep and with a lot of freedom for the player. Anyway it pays for the lack of a proper tutorial and a somewhat excessively fast playing speed.

A double sided game: while the combat system is immediate and easily approachable by every kind of gamer, other elements like the lack of local multiplayer and bad storytelling in the story mode steer it away from the casual players, the natural target for a Kinect game.

With WRC 3 Milestone managed to improve its series with a satisfying driving model and a lot of contents for rally fans; it still needs some work in the graphics department, but this third episode marks a good step forward in the right direction. Highly recommended to racing and rally lovers.

Angry Birds Trilogy keeps intact all the original games' qualities, but it belongs to in pockets much more than your living room. And the price feels too high, especially when all three games are available elsewhere for free or at much lower prices.

Fable: The Journey loses many of the elements that made the main series famous, things like PNG interaction, moral choices and freedom, but it makes a very good and pleasing Kinect game, even with some story revelations that will please the series fans.

PES 2013 brings some great improvements over the previous titles but it still remains bound to some of its historic problems. It feels like a transition chapter: the beginning of a new course for Konami's series.

A really surprising game, characterized by the great freedom given to the player and the high tension it can induce when crawling in the shadows. We would have liked a lengthier story, but it nevertheless remains a must-buy.

With a long and complex story bolstered by spectacular, adrenaline-fueled and varied gameplay, Capcom delivers a highly satisfying game. It would have been perfect with a more thrilling mood, but if you're looking for an intense and involving experience you won't be displeased.

A decent flight combat game, especially if played in sim mode. Unfortunately the very poor graphics manage to hinder what's been achieved with a good story and overall feeling.

A very interesting novelty in the music games genre, very involving for guitar/bass newcomers even if quite challenging. The on-screen notes indicators are sometimes confusing and it could benefit from a more distinctive presentation, but if you always wanted to start playing guitar this is a very good tool for becoming acquainted with the instrument.

Borderlands 2 is one of the best co-op games around and more broadly one of the most enjoyable ones, thanks to the sheer variety of weapons, enemies and missions, capable to entertain the player for many hours and several play-throughs. A must-play.
