A fascinating exploration/filght-sim mix, with great visuals and a good storytelling. Too bad it gets penalized by a troublesome control system, making the experience more frustrating than relaxing.

A very good hunting sim, with great graphics and a deep and realistic gameplay, both in single and multiplayer. We would have liked more environments/maps to hunt on, but it's definitely a game to buy for lovers of this genre.

A solid Dungeon Keeper-style strategy sim, with compelling gameplay and good online modes. Gamepad controls aren't optimal though, making it a bit uncomfortable to play in some areas.

A conservative sequel on the previous game, adding more variety on the ships and powers side but keeping all the features of the Anniversary episode, including the infamous stars collection mechanic. If you loved the previous game or are looking for a solid shoot'em up with awesome visuals, though, you'll like Sky Force Reloaded.

An artistic masterwork, still visually stunning and unique after more than 10 years from its first release, and with a very distinctive gameplay. If you like Zelda-style action-RPGs, this is a game to have.

A challenging puzzle game, with symmetry-based levels requiring us to "retune" our brain to complete each challenge. Not very long or varied, but a good game if played in short bursts.

A classical collectathon 3D platformer, with lots of charm and variety. It could have used a higher challenge level and it's got some performance issues, but it will surely please any platform game lover.

A thrilling and highly compelling first person sci-fi adventure, with some very deep themes and great storytelling. It could have used some more optimization on the base Xbox One, while on the X it runs very smoothly.

Thanks to a slate of new content and features, Giants' farming sim reaffirms itself as the undisputed king of its genre, even if it confirms some of its greatest gaps too, like a too lifeless environment.

A visually pleasing open world 2D platformer, with vivid hand-drawn graphics and a rich and alive world. We would have liked more varied and compelling gameplay, though.

A visually stunning game especially on Xbox One X, with a very solid and frantic multiplayer gameplay and finally introducing a satisfying - albeit short - single player campaign. Other than the campaign length, some problems of power-up balancing and rough animations keep it from shining to the max.

EA and Maxis' series comes back to console with bright and dark spots. On one side we have a very satisfying simulation with a good technical production, but on the other we get somewhat uncomfortable controls and relatively too little environment and character customization choices.

A solid new iteration in Sonic's series, with fun and frantic gameplay even if we would have liked more playable characters, while the new Avatars feature left us quite unimpressed.

Even if visually not completely satisfying, L.A. Noire is still a captivating detective story with great acting. There's no reason to get if if you played the original game, but if you didn't and love narrative experiences, it'll surely be pleasing.

A solid arcade racer with some very nice environments, but it feels a bit too weak in the technical department and with a too marked rubber-banding effect during the races.

A welcome return to the origins for Call of Duty, with an immersive campaign and a classic multiplayer. The new Zombi mode is the one that feels more improved and a step forward, while multiplayer could have used a bit more of innovation, but it's still highly enjoyable.
