We apreciate the effort to reproduce the great Gears of War gameplay, but Quantum Theory lacks in execution with with a repetitive and frustrating gameplay.- MondoXbox

EA's NBA title comeback turned out to be a real disappointment, due to a dated gameplay system and old-gen graphics. We'd save the excellent ESPN integration and the great play modes choice, but it isn't enough to make it a good basketball game.- MondoXbox

The base ideas of a vertical platform-shooter and steampunk setting are interesting, but Blue Omega managed to create a really awful game, with an embarrassing gameplay, lackluster visuals and a nonexistent online component. Just avoid it.- MondoXbox

Sanity of Morris proposes us an interesting concept focused on paranormal and X-Files-style mystery thriller; unfortunately, though, it also puts our patience to the test due to an unsatisfying implementation. Graphically poor and artistically not very apt, with a slow and cumbersome gameplay, you'll have to arm yourself with a lot of patience to get to the end of an already very short story.- MondoXbox

Past Cure shows a lot of love for specific video games and movies with a huge ambition to emulate them, but the developers fell incredibly short of their target, producing a very troubled game in pretty much every aspect except for the soundtrack.- MondoXbox

Agony focuses too heavily on the macabre and sexual elements of its very oppressive hell, forgetting to provide good gameplay to sustain the entire experience. Add this to a plethora of bugs and all kinds of problems, and you'll understand why we can't really recommend it to anyone.- MondoXbox

A collection of over-simplified and extremely repetitive mini-games, something which value we would have questioned as a Live Arcade game, let alone a retail one.- MondoXbox

Farming and breeding must be a very boring and repetitive activity, or at least this is what Farming Simulator 2013 makes us believe. Giants Software made a pretty impressive reproduction of the farming activities and tools, but they totally forgot that a game needs to entertain or at least involve its public.- MondoXbox

Few good ideas and a nice visual presentation quickly make way for a frustrating and repetitive experience and many technical problems.- MondoXbox

Giana Sisters: Dream Runners could have been a good game on paper, but it gets dragged down by too many gameplay and technical problems, other than contents scarcity.- MondoXbox

A great roster of iconic indie heroes gets overshadowed by too many technical and gameplay problems. A game that would have needed many more months of development and testing to be acceptable.- MondoXbox

The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is based on a good idea - we'd love a good TWD survival game -, but with a very poor execution.- MondoXbox

Fighters Uncaged is probably the only Kinect launch game trying to introduce a more thought and tactical gameplay, where success and satisfaction is achieved by properly reacting to the enemy moves. Unfortunately the experience is partially ruined by some problems in moves detection and an uninspired design.- MondoXbox

Rebellion tried to distinguish the game by adding a horror atmosphere, but what emerges is only a very poor technical realization and frustrating gameplay. When the list of cons drastically overtakes the pros, it's clear we have a game to avoid: the Eidos shooter can rather be taken as a compendium of what not to do in a game.- MondoXbox

A good evolution in the series, managing to pull it out from the stall of the last years also thanks to the new fishing rod controller. We'd have liked an overall more simulative gameplay, where the right choice amongst the many baits and accessories available would have really made the difference in the outcome of a fishing session.- MondoXbox

The Walking Dead: Season Two surprises us with an exceptional main character, which manages to offer us a fresh point of view on the story, while the new Xbox One version smooths out many of the technical flaws of the old-gen one. A fascinating experience for every fan of Kirkman's comic.- MondoXbox

A little gem full of brilliant puzzles, with a fascinating storytelling and a great soundtrack. It only slightly disappoints in the gameplay department, with somewhat imprecise controls that might become a problem in the most difficult and critical sections. Despite this, it's undoubtedly a game anyone should try.- MondoXbox
