Journey to the Savage Planet is a very enjoyable and satisfying space adventure, with great humour and full of surprises and crazy situations, even if a bit short. We'd love to see a sequel funded with a bigger budget.- MondoXbox

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is overall a good game, with the best gameplay over the last 3 chapters thanks to a fluid and frenetic multiplayer and a good Zombie mode. A discordant note is an uninvolving and slightly shorter campaign, but it remains the CoD with the best multiplayer in recent years, and this simply cannot be ignored.- MondoXbox

Who played the first game will find in Overlord II the same irreverent and ironic spirit, coupled with greatly improved visuals capable of showing us beautiful, lush and evocative sceneries. On the other hand, we find a not so varied gameplay, in the long run repetitive. The new elements are interesting, but they aren't enough to suggest it to anyone: due to its atypical structure, we suggest to try it before opting to buy.- MondoXbox

We Were Here Forever is the most ambitious and most successful title in the co-op puzzle series, capable of delivering a one-of-a-kind cooperative experience thanks to a long series of puzzles perfectly integrated within the story. Too bad about the absence of the Buddy Pass, which would have allowed two friends to play together without having to buy the game twice.- MondoXbox

Even if visually not completely satisfying, L.A. Noire is still a captivating detective story with great acting. There's no reason to get if if you played the original game, but if you didn't and love narrative experiences, it'll surely be pleasing.- MondoXbox

Deck13 reinterprets the Souls-like genre with a deep and original combat system and more gamer-friendly structure and story. This doesn't save The Surge from its dose of frustrating and repetitive action, though, but it's definitely a ride worth the effort.- MondoXbox

South of Midnight is a fascinating journey into the magic of the Deep South, among beautiful scenery, strange characters and game mechanics that, while not inventing anything, are fun and engaging. The art department, both visual and audio, is phenomenal, while something could have been done to improve combat and the story pace, but it's nonetheless a game that all lovers of the action-adventure genre should try.- MondoXbox

Neon Chrome sports a great and deep mix of twin-stick shooter and roguelike mechanics, with a satisfying sense of progression and good challenges. Its neon-like artistic design feels a bit overused and uninspired, but overall it's one of the best roguelike/shooter games around.- MondoXbox

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is a well-packaged and spectacular third-person action game, with an excellent balance between melee confrontations and shootouts. The Campaign gameplay feels a bit bland with few memorable moments, but is redeemed by the excellent wealth of content in terms of online PvP and PvE modes. Highly recommended for fans of Warhammer 40K, an IP that here is exploited to great effect.- MondoXbox

A huge and ambitious action-RPG game, a remarkable gem with great combat system and world design. Its downside are the old-gen looking graphics, but it's definitely recommended to action games lovers.- MondoXbox

Cris Tales turned out to be a pleasant surprise, managing to impress us for originality and artistic style, as well as interesting gameplay mechanics. Even if it shows a certain inexperience in the general balance of pace and powers, with some of them too overpowered making it almost useless to look for different combinations, it still remains a great homage to classic turn-based JRPGs, so we can only recommend everyone to give it a look.- MondoXbox

Samurai Shodown brings back one of the most challenging fighters ever, making it a bit more accessible but not easier. Lovers of tactical fighting games will love it, but it would have benefited from more contents.- MondoXbox

One of the best Worms games from the last few years, thanks to old school gameplay coupled with good additions capable of deepening it even more. We're still missing a complete levels editor, hoping it will be added later.- MondoXbox

Dying Light: The Beast marks a welcome return to the series’ roots, highlighting fluid parkour, brutal combat, and the fresh addition of “beast” powers. While dated mission design, forced grinding, lack of fast travel, and a weak narrative hold it back, the game remains content-rich and highly enjoyable, proving the Dying Light formula is still thrilling and remarkably effective today.- MondoXbox

One of the best Xbox One launch exclusives and a great fighting game, with a very good combat system and probably the best tutorial section ever seen in the genre. Our only complaints are about the thin characters line-up and the absence of a classic Arcade mode.- MondoXbox

No Man's Sky is a giant leap from the game's early days, and it comes on Xbox One in its best form, with lots of activities and variety. It's still got wide margins of improvement though, especially in the multiplayer and technical areas, but if there's something Hello Games proved so far, it's their strong commitment to improve the game post-launch.- MondoXbox

Planet Coaster: Console Edition is definitely the best theme park management game around, with a great porting from the PC version and a very solid gameplay. We would have liked a meatier Career mode, but its Sandbox mode can be very satisfying and it'll be able to entertain even newcomers to the genre.- MondoXbox

An intimate and compelling story, with great characterization and environments. It brilliantly manages to represent a transgender character without falling in clichés and stereotypes, normalizing him and making him part of a wider, intense drama. We would have liked more varied gameplay and interactivity though, as the experience is mainly limited to basic exploration, object interaction and dialogue.- MondoXbox

NBA Live 19 shows further improvements for the series with a more simulative gameplay, a great overall NBA feeling thanks to realistic graphics and the ESPN license, and the welcome return of the WNBA license. The One is the crown jewel mode for the series, but EA still has to work hard to improve its Franchise mode and some ball physics. All in all, a definitely suggested game for NBA lovers.- MondoXbox
