Even if it suffers from ups and downs and we feel the lack of some features from the past (including a real end-game that takes us into the future era), Sid Meier's Civilization VII fully succeeds in modernising and improving the historic saga, thanks to the introduction of game systems that make the whole experience smoother, more satisfying and engaging. Highly recommended for both veterans of the series and newcomers.- MondoXbox

Wild Hearts is a hunter-like game that is both respectful of tradition and at the same time very brave, thanks to innovations such as the Karakuri structure system and greater attention to the narrative. In addition, the game benefits from the care taken in designing the Kemono monsters and crafting an experience that will satisfy both genre veterans and newcomers. Despite a few youth issues, it is undoubtedly one of the best alternatives around for fans of the genre.- MondoXbox

A very good first person puzzle game, with great visuals and high variety in puzzles. If English isn't your main language you could have some problems following its story due to complete lack of subtitles, but it will be enjoyable nonetheless. A recommended buy to any fan of the genre, thanks to the great price point too.- MondoXbox

After Us is a wonderful, dream-like journey through the evils of the world, an epic with a profound storyline and setting that makes us reflect on the path of humanity and everything around it. An excellent platformer, with a respectable duration and plenty of collectables to gather. A must-buy for fans of the genre.- MondoXbox

A realistic and intriguing Mars colonization sim, but with a bad console porting. Small text, messy and uncomfortable controls and complete lack of a proper tutorial keep it from reaching its full potential.- MondoXbox

Assetto Corsa Competizione is the simulation every car lover wanted on console, but everything good it does gets ultimately overshadowed by a too unstable frame-rate, a mortal sin for a racing game. Wheel management bugs aren't helpful, too.- MondoXbox

A good re-telling of latest Star Wars flick, LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens adds some welcome new elements to the series' gameplay, managing to keep it interesting even if it still suffers from an heavy sense of dejà vu for people who played every LEGO game.- MondoXbox

Andromeda looks like a double-sided production. On the bright side we find some gorgeous environments, satisfying combat and a convincing discovery feeling, while on the darker one there's an un polished game with several bugs, dull and uninspired characters and a problematic multiplayer. Still a good game, but not Mass Effect-good.- MondoXbox

A thrilling and surprising mix of a roguelike game and a local multiplayer experience. Too bad for the lack of online multiplayer support.- MondoXbox

Watch Dogs Legion keeps the series' base mechanics while enhancing the whole formula thanks to the higher gameplay and tactical variety provided by the huge choice of agents available. This has the downside of making every character pretty forgettable though, keeping us from establishing an emotional bond with any of them.- MondoXbox

The gameplay crafted by Ascendant Studios, albeit without any particular creative flourishes, is fun and involving for the entire duration of the adventure, supported by a script that, despite some unoriginal writing and sometimes too childish dialogues, contributes to keeping the title enjoyable from start to finish. An FPS that, also due to optimisation problems, fails to express its potential, but is nevertheless able to provide a few hours of fun to all lovers of the genre.- MondoXbox

MGS: Ground Zeroes sports an intense story with an excellent open world gameplay: it succeeds in offering us a brief glimpse of the greatness The Phantom Pain will have. Nevertheless, its shortness and price make for a pretty weak value proposition.- MondoXbox

Every race in MX vs ATV Reflex shows us how solid and well developed the game is. The only problems we had were related to the online multiplayer, with lag and connection drop problems: except for this, it is a milestone game for every off-road racing fan.- MondoXbox

TT Isle of Man 2 improves on the first game adding more tracks and variety, and keeping its nature of hard-core and challenging racing sim for moto racing enthusiasts. It still lacks in performance and AI though, two areas where we'd like to see strong improvements with the next game.- MondoXbox

Close to the Sun offers an intriguing plot revolving around Nikola Tesla's theories and interesting steampunk environments, but it could have been more compelling with better puzzles and more variety. All in all, though, it's an interesting first-person adventure.- MondoXbox

Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One is a good (re)starting point for the famous detective's video game saga. The mysteries this time are a bit easier, but there are many more contents than usual thanks to the new open-world approach even if the new features would have used a little more development. All in all, the new direction of Sherlock Holmes is definitely the right one and we're eager to see where it will lead in the future.- MondoXbox

Slipstream reproduces at its best many of the visual and gameplay elements that made games like Out Run unforgettable, offering also a remarkable amount of game modes. There are still some perplexities about the inconstant difficulty, but given the excellent price it is undoubtedly a title recommended to all lovers of retro driving games.- MondoXbox

Gunfire Reborn presents a mix of FPS and roguelite mechanics capable of dragging us into a vortex of "one more game" from which it is difficult to get out. With a stronger narrative compartment it could have aimed for higher heights, but even so it stands as a title that FPS lovers should not miss.- MondoXbox
