Song of Iron offers us a fascinating and cinematic world, capable of effectively evoking the world of the Vikings and their mythology, but it counter-balances this with some technical issues and a bit too rough combat system, making the experience inconsistent and frustrating at times. I would however still recommend it, primarily to enthusiasts of Norse culture.- MondoXbox

Kingdom Rush proves to be a fun and intriguing title, with balanced gameplay and a more than solid technical performance. Even if, given its age, it shows obvious limitations, it represents an excellent opportunity to discover (or rediscover) the Tower Defense genre.- MondoXbox

MotoGP 26 offers its usual and appreciated driving model, now embellished with numerous details and realistic riders. The driving modes can satisfy both demanding players seeking a ruthless simulation and those who just want to have fun. However, it lacks in content: the renewed Career convinces when using a custom rider, but it disappoints with real ones due to unnecessary limitations. And the removal of historical features adds to a worrying list of cuts over the years, undermining its overall value for long-time fans.- MondoXbox

Anarcute strikes for the stark contrast between violent urban action and its cute characters and world. It's based on a cool gameplay concept - controlling crowds with power-ups while they grow - but it might lack some deepens in its mechanics. All in all, a genuine and satisfying game to play.- MondoXbox

Mafia II is a great game, crafted with incredible care by its developers. If you're looking for a game with a strong story and a great shooter component, don't think twice about buying it. Just don't expect a myriad of side missions typical of other free roaming activities: this is a very story-driven and linear experience.- MondoXbox

The richness of the game modes, the depth of the Franchise mode and the introduction of the X-Factor system are the indisputable strengths of NHL 22, but graphical uncertainties, an often de-structured commentary and the intrusiveness of microtransactions inevitably affect the final evaluation.- MondoXbox

Syndicate shines for its great visuals, the intriguing world they depict and the brilliant co-op mode, while we would have liked a better developed story and more freedom during the missions. The augmented interface is sometimes confusing too, with too much information on screen and often too tiny and difficult fonts. It looks like a missed opportunity: it could have been a real gem instead of a simply good FPS.- MondoXbox

A surprisingly solid and entertaining game, with good gameplay mechanics and great atmosphere. Its rather light and uninvolving story gets balanced by high tension levels and a very amusing co-op. Every zombie games lover should consider playing it.- MondoXbox

If the first chapter of the series represented a novelty and a small gem in the managerial games universe, this sequel expands and enriches the experience but it loses the opportunity to deepen the management component. It is an evolution of the first chapter, with new content and modes, but without adding substantial new features to the game formula.- MondoXbox

A dark and despotic management adventure, where errors often have undesired consequences we have to live with. Controls can be unintuitive and imprecise sometimes, and this brings on some frustration. Overall, though, it's a very interesting game for lovers of managerial titles.- MondoXbox

Visually and artistically, The Flame in the Flood is one of the most fascinating experiences in recent months, but it sports a rather predictable and unoriginal gameplay. It's basically a classical survival game with crafting and resource management, but everything turns out to be quite boring on the long term, due to an excessive grinding too. Absolutely not a bad game and survival games lovers could appreciate it, but gameplay-wise it could have been more refined.- MondoXbox

TT Games' new adventure ends up being a bit shorter than we'd have liked, and it looks like it's now targeting only the younger audience, offering little motivations for gorwn-up players other than that of playing it with their kids.- MondoXbox

A good and satisfying racing game, with an unusual depth level for a non-AAA racing game. Despite some minor flaws, it shines thanks to its rich customization, many game modes and a great cars and tires physics simulation.- MondoXbox

Minecraft Dungeons successfully translates Mojang's franchise to the dungeon crawler action-RPG genre, making it much more accessible than the other games in the genre even if at the cost of some depth and variety. All in all an highly enjoyable game, hoping it'll be supported with a steady flow of new content for a long time.- MondoXbox

An arena shooter heavily influenced by 8 and 16-bit era games like Super Mario Bros., Smash Bros. and Street Fighter. Frenzied and funny, it shines in local multiplayer while the single player campaign proved to be overly short.- MondoXbox

Sonic Colours Ultimate isn't too convincing as a remaster, but it's still one of the best Sonic games of the last two decades. It doesn't fix the shortcomings of the first game and it also introduces some bugs and balancing issues, but it remains fun and spectacular; it' recommended especially to those who have never played the original.- MondoXbox

Outriders is a very well thought-out shooter, with a gameplay capable of satisfying both solo and in co-op, and good looting and progression mechanics. Too bad for the many connection problems that plagued it so far, making it pretty much impossible to play with friends. Once these problems have been addressed, just consider this review score increased by 1.- MondoXbox

Infinity Ward goofs up on the campaign with a dull story and a totally forgettable villain, but they recover on the multiplayer side with some very nice maps, great bots AI, the usual frenzied gameplay and the highly addicting Extinction mode. Overall, though, CoD Ghosts lacks the magnificence and innovation we would have expected from IW's new work after the Modern Warfare trilogy.- MondoXbox
