PGA Tour 2K23 convincingly delivers thanks to a revamped swing mechanic and improvements to the MyCareer mode, even if the impact of microtransactions is still heavy. It's nice to be able to use the real pros again, but the dearth of new courses is a bit disappointing. Still, it remains a recommended title for lovers of golf titles, both amateur and experienced ones.- MondoXbox

Watch Dogs sports an extremely solid gameplay with a good stealth flavor and tons of things to do. It stumbles however in the story area, with an uninteresting plot and quite dull characters, Aiden included. Overall, however, it's a good package, even if it isn't the masterwork we were expecting, and it will undoubtedly be worthy of your time.- MondoXbox

PES 2012 fails to fully persuade, especially if you're looking for a more realistic and simulative play style. The game introduces some welcome features like the on-line fair play system, but fumbles on the ball physics and defense management, with an overly high speed of the actions. Suited for those looking for a more arcade soccer experience.- MondoXbox

State of Decay may be full of bugs and weird problems, but everything disappears once you start smashing heads and go hunting for supplies and ammo. A game really capable of surprising you when you less expect it, even with its anticlimactic ending.- MondoXbox

A nice 2D runner based on tens of skating tricks, easy to learn but hard to master. Its ease and repetitiveness however make it more suited for a mobile gaming experience.- MondoXbox

Headlander features some very inventive mechanics, with a satisfying metroidvania structure and a funny story; its fights aren't something to write home about though, and some puzzles are quite inscrutable resulting in a "click anywhere until you find something" routine.- MondoXbox

Broken Age allows us to relive the golden age of point-and-click graphical adventures, delivering a pleasing art style and a good writing, even if not exempt of more boring moments. All in all, a good old-school adventure capable of pleasing even the more demanding players.- MondoXbox

Activision did it again: the new Skylanders game feels fresh thanks to the new Trap mechanic and is still great fun both for children and their parents. Our wallets are doomed.- MondoXbox

Disney's toys-to-life franchise finally reaches full maturity with lots of contents and a varied and satisfying gameplay. Add the Star Wars franchise to the mix, and you've got a must buy game for little and grown-up geeks.- MondoXbox

In Sound Mind is an ambitious horror title that throws us into real nightmares, giving life to highly varied situations but lacking in the horror component, with a few really scary situations and some gameplay design choices leading to monotony rather than tension. Despite this, it remains an interesting product with a good longevity, deserving the attention of fans of the genre.- MondoXbox

Assassin's Creed: Syndicate brings some freshness to the series thanks to the protagonists duality and the sped-up movement given by chariots and the new grappling hook, while Victorian era London is a really charming location. We didn't like the shoddy present time story line, though: if Ubisoft can't bring it back to the Desmond days greatness, maybe it's time to definitively let it go.- MondoXbox

A very good arcade racer with a sim DNA, very entertaining and satisfying for lovers of drifting and paint swapping, with a great sense of weight in the cars. With a more compelling career mode and a rear-view mirror it would have been perfect.- MondoXbox

Portal's turrets, switches and obviously portals are a perfect fit for ClockStone's physics-based puzzler. It could have been more polished, but it's surely a suggested experience for lovers of Valve's franchise.- MondoXbox

An important and very welcome turning point for the series, with a more enjoyable and spectacular gameplay, and a greatly improved storytelling. If you're intrigued by air combat and don't mind a more forgiving and arcade approach, it's a recommended buy.- MondoXbox

A fascinating and mysterious adventure with a great teen thriller plot, charming characters and outstanding visuals and sound design. The whole story captivates the player flowing quickly, to the point that its ending arrives even too soon; a couple more gameplay hours wouldn't have hurt.- MondoXbox

Despite lacking the visual wow factor, Dead Rising 3 looks like the more next-geny game of the Xbox One launch line-up thanks to the impressive zombie hordes management and ubiquitous physics simulation. On top of this we get tons of hilarious, foolish fun: if you’ve got an Xbox One, you can’t miss it.- MondoXbox

A deeply customizable driving experience, good technical production values and some welcome additions like endurance races and dynamic weather and day/night cycle make RIDE 4 one of the best moto racers around, even if some flaws and a reduced bikes list keep it from reaching higher spots.- MondoXbox

For survival horror lovers Dead Space 3 is somewhat of a letdown, with a more action-oriented soul and fewer thrills than the previous games. Its strengths lie in the engaging story, good longevity and co-op implementation, but the series' origins seem a bit lost.- MondoXbox

Infinity Ward's new game introduces an exciting new campaign while being more conservative on the multiplayer side, with a mix of Ghosts and BO3 mechanics. The end result is a good but not outstanding game, something that will please lovers of the series but won't do anything to attract new or lapsed players.- MondoXbox

Despite the drastic name change, EA Sports FC 24 doesn't represent a revolution but rather a new step forward in EA Sports' football series, with many new features and some unexpected optimisation issues. But despite the lack of courage in offering a truly innovative experience, it still remains the best choice for all soccer game fans.- MondoXbox

PES 2010 isn't the final soccer simulation, but it surely manages to entertain us with our friends. It lacks on novelties and the graphics feel a little bit dated, but a couple of very long and involving online modes, the new cards system, a deep schemes creation editor and a finally playable online multiplayer, make PES 2010 a title to not undervalue, which definitely deserves to be enjoyed.- MondoXbox

A surprising game, offering us an ironic commentary on the games development process. Its ends up a bit too boring tough, due to the long dialogues and walking sessions, and with a price a bit too high for its length.- MondoXbox
