Brütal Legend revealed itself to be a very entertaining and somewhat original game, with a very charismatic star that we hope to see again in the future. A real must-have for every Heavy Metal fan thanks to the great soundtrack, but very enjoyable from all the others too. Our only complain is with the game graphic, a little bit unpolished and with a precarious frame-rate.

PES 2019 is probably the best football game around once you're on the pitch, thanks to its great gameplay, great variety and tactical options; unluckily, though, the whole package feels outdated due to the lack of important licenses and new features.

With Assassin's Creed Valhalla Ubisoft keeps on improving on the action-RPG formula, streamlining some gameplay mechanics and reviving some others from the series' distant past. The Viking plot feels accurate and fully convincing, with many interesting references to their myths and uses, while the modern-time storyline keeps on feeling too underdeveloped.

A valid remaster job, with good visual improvements and tons of new contents due to the added mods support. Owners of the original game are a bit let down due to the lack of a savegame import feature and high price point, but it's definitely recommended to anyone who never played the game so far.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena revealed itself to be an extremely gratifying experience, mainly thanks to the great gameplay variety and Riddick's bullish charm. If you were missing a good stealth game, even if not despising FPS action, this is your game. We absolutely suggest it to everyone who didn't play Escape from Butcher's Bay, but even if you did, the Dark Athena campaign will give you about ten hours of fresh enjoyment.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon marks the grand return of a saga that had been missing for way too long. A faithful episode to its predecessors but, at the same time, more modern and accessible, even if some difficulty balancing problems can make it frustrating for newbies. It remains, however, recommended both to historical fans and to those who want to approach the series for the first time.

DiRT Rally 2.0 is definitely the best rally sim around, with great gameplay, awesome graphics and and a satisfying and involving challenge level. Its only shortcoming is having too few contents in some areas, but it's a must buy for any lover of the genre.

The new elements introduced in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga allow it to renew itself by offering a gameplay capable of satisfying every player, even if it has to deal with the inexplicable absence of online co-op and with some less effective elements. However, these flaws quickly fade into the background, leaving room for the best LEGO video game so far.

PES 2018 reaffirms Konami's series as a great tactical soccer sim, with further enhancements in realism and the welcome addition of online co-op. It doesn't feel like a drastic advancement compared to last year's game, and the defense lines ended up being weirdly weakened.

EA Sports UFC 4 keeps all the good features of the successful previous episode, further improving the Campaign mode and adding some welcome changes to the combat system. It still needs some refinements especially regarding the ground game and transitions management, but it undoubtedly remains the best fighting sports game around.

Black Rock managed to create a new contender in the arcade racing arena: Split/Second: Velocity brings us a good combination of stylish graphics, spectacular gameplay and perfect difficulty balance. If you're looking for a distinctive and unique racing game, you won't be disappointed.

NBA 2K15 manages once again to keep up with its already high standards, with further improvements and refinements and some welcome new features like the facial scan and pre-match shows. A must have game for any basketball lover.

343 Industries made a great job in refreshing the first Halo graphics, making it a game capable of competing even with modern FPSes. It's not perfect mainly due to its 10 years age, but it's highly recommended both to gamers that never had the chance to play the original game and long time fans.

NBA 2K26 revitalizes the franchise after a small dip in NBA 2K25, led by the strongest MyCareer mode in years, thanks to a gripping prologue and refined gameplay with updates like the new shot meter and smoother movement, even if MyGM still lags. With only minor flaws, it feels nearly complete, true to the slogan “Ball Over Everything.”

An awesome game, one of the best action games of this gen capable of combining a great story and characters with an adrenaline-fueled and highly satisfying gameplay. Its only flaw is in the short story duration, but if you're willing to test yourselves with higher difficulty levels and VR Missions, it will be worth your money.

PES 2013 brings some great improvements over the previous titles but it still remains bound to some of its historic problems. It feels like a transition chapter: the beginning of a new course for Konami's series.

Finally a real strong competitor to Mario Kart outside of Nintendo platforms: Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed joins a simple and very intuitive control system to a varied and always entertaining gameplay, with great characters cast and inspired track design.

MotoGP 20 further improves on the already good 2019 game with a more satisfying Career mode, renewed Historical Challenges and and great gameplay and technical production. There's still much space for improvements and we feel Milestone might dare more with new things, but it'll undoubtedly be a satisfying game for all fans of the genre.

Whether you're a veteran rider seeking realism or a newcomer looking for instant fun, MotoGP 25 strikes the perfect balance. With refined handling, an accessible Arcade mode, expanded Career, and creative tools, it’s a solid evolution of the series. A must-play for MotoGP fans and racing enthusiasts of all skill levels.

Indivisible sports some awesome anime-like visuals and a brilliant score, while its "real-time turns" combat formula quickly ends up in a button mashing experience lacking depth and tactics. The platforming component has its ups and downs too, with a too heavy backtracking. All in all, an interesting game but its launch price feels a bit too high for the offering.

Square Enix took a great risk changing all the series core mechanics, but it turned out to be a winning bet: a great technical realization and an over-the-top combat system make this game worth the buy for every Final Fantasy and JRPG fan.

Chernobylite is an interesting and surprising game, thanks to an emotional and deep story, an engaging atmosphere and a good mix of different gameplay styles. Unfortunately, some problems such as repetitiveness, a low challenge level and a series of annoying bugs prevent it from reaching higher heights.

Metro Exodus stays true to the series' roots while adding a very welcome open world component an greater variety both in environments and gameplay, with a more intimate story than before. Having awesome graphics doesn't hurt, either.

Even without bringing huge innovations to the table, Far Cry 4 delivers a great and very polished gameplay experience coupled with lush and spectacular environments. Too bad for the forgettable main characters and the unexciting story, something we missed from the previous game in the series. It's a very funny and advised game nonetheless.

Exactly what we expected from this remake: fans will find in it all the elements that made it a cult game in a new shiny 1080p guise, while who never played it will finally know what all the fuss is about as long as they're willing to forgive some stiff controls.

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West shines thanks to a very variegated and balanced gameplay and a very compelling and moving story.

Ensemble Studios finally achieved a result sought by many developers this gen: creating a true console RTS, easy and amusing to play, yet keeping it highly challenging. Besides this, we get a great Halo story, with charismatic characters and amazing CGI cut-scenes. This game did for the RTS genre what the original Halo did for the FPS, and we're sure it will have a great impact in future games of this kind.

An instantly enjoyable game, with a low learning curve and a good control system, rewarding both for newbies and experts. The excessive difficulty of some competitions and the low variety in play modes could discourage someone, but it remains one of the best games in its kind.
