Nevertheless, if you're looking for a soccer game, Real Soccer 09 will more than satisfy. It lacks creative modes and official teams, but the solid controls, decent presentation and real world players make it one of the DS' best sports games.

Its loveable characters, appealing music and addictive tower defense shenanigans make it an ideal pickup, especially for younger gamers that love pajama wearing warriors.

Tornado seemed like a good time, but nonsensical missions and time limits killed the game. Don't be fooled by its shiny exterior. This tornado spins itself out.

Once you beat the game (few hours at best), there's no reason to return, other than to torture yourself further. That said, unless you're a masochist, avoid The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon.

NBA 09 The Inside is a slam-dunk in almost every way.

With vehicles, suits and lots of classic characters, LEGO Batman: The Videogame is a fun DS game worth your time. It's not as attractive as the PSP version and it doesn't take great advantage of the hardware, but if Nintendo's system is all you own, it's worth a trip to the Batcave.

It's a missed opportunity, because we like the story as well as the sharp and colorful graphics, but hunting for clues had us falling asleep.

That said, a slicker presentation, better multiplayer, more question variety and the ability to download question packs for a small fee could've made this the next great game show.

SimCity Creator might be entertaining if it were the last game on earth, but even then, we might just resort to Hangman.

With a little bit more development time, The Force Unleashed could've been a monstrous hit, even bigger than the Death Star. However, it's good for lightsaber nuts looking to play something on the go.

Unfortunately, you don't break dance at all. Instead, you connect dots while a blocky character on the top screen spins on his head.

Not only is Story Mode deep and engaging, but Puzzle Creation adds infinite possibilities. Thirty bucks is still too much to spend, but considering the value, you'll have fun if you do.

If you have fond memories of it or you are an RPG fanatic, definitely check out this game.

Although Drawn to Life: SpongeBob Squarepants Edition is a great game for fans of the little yellow sponge, we feel it could alienate older gamers who enjoyed the premier release of the Drawn to Life series.

Air Traffic Chaos is short on options, but it's a fun and original DS game for all ages, especially those that want a better idea of what happens thousands of feet in the air.

Though the action in Viva Pinata: Pocket Paradise comes unexpectedly and some boredom sets in, this is still a great DS game.

Difficulty notwithstanding, Mystery Case Files: MillionHeir is a delightful game.

Overall, Lock's Quest is immensely entertaining.

There's simply no excuse to not buy N+.
