Joe Danger Touch represents everything about mobile gaming at its best. It's faithful to an established franchise, yet it strikes out on its own to provide a game that's as slick as its console counterpart, remains challenging but fair, and is always entertaining thanks to a deep system of replayability.

A textbook example of how to seamlessly blend a game with a movie, and with additional levels on the way, it's a must play for longtime fans as well as newcomers.

All told, Sonic CD was a masterpiece long before it appeared on the App Store. This wonderful mobile version only helps solidify its standing as one of the greatest video games of all time.

Pushmo is without question one of the best 3DS games we've played. It's great to see Nintendo step outside its comfort zone of critically acclaimed franchises and do something original that's both immensely entertaining and a neat showpiece for the hardware. Don't resist the urge. Download this gem immediately.

I'm simply astonished at the fact that Konami has created two of my favorite DS games in only a year apart from each other.

Like waves crashing onto a white sandy beach, it's a spectacular elemental fusion that lulls you into a zen-like state, a type of serenity that relaxes your body as well as your mind as you peacefully walk its shores. An artistic achievement and a must buy, Lumines is therapy for the soul.

So yes, Trucks and Skulls is a direct Angry Birds clone, but it's a great one. Not only is it immensely enjoyable, but it also has a cool presentation, with post apocalyptic backgrounds, mean looking trucks and plenty of explosions. Even the levels sound hardcore; Fortress of Bang, Indestruction.

Visually, the game is excellent - and sometimes astounding. Ratchet's fluid animation must be seen to be believed, and there are moments (Clank's aerial levels come to mind) where the range of colors and particle effects will blow you away.

We love Pro Zombie Soccer. The sharp visuals and satisfying gameplay make it our newest guilty pleasure, as well as one of the most imaginative zombie titles in the App Store.

Let's Golf 3 is the best golf game in the App Store, hands down. Gameloft's exquisite sports title plays similar to Sony's Hot Shots Golf series, but the developers upped the ante with a wide assortment of power-ups, courses, user-friendly touch controls and seamless online play. The best part? It's free.

It's focused, detailed, highly tweaked on gameplay, and loaded with options galore. It's got the old-school greatness of the series and a shiny new gloss rolled into one, with nothing ruined or tarnished in the process.

Really, though, it's all about getting together with a few friends and beating the living tar out of each other. Up to four players can take part in a fight, selecting from 26 characters throughout the game.

The Room is the cave of mysteries from everyone's childhood; a perfect encapsulation of the fear and pleasure of discovery. If the words "secret compartment" make your fingers tingle, beat your way to the App Store and put them to use.

The Walking Dead Pinball is one of the best additions to Zen Pinball 2's stable of specialized tables, and if you haven't tried out any of the rest of them, this would be a great place to start -- especially if you're looking to play something a little different when it comes to the shambling undead.

The deceptive simpleness of gameplay lends itself to complex and difficult tracks that make a player feel accomplished. Unlike a majority of iOS games, stabbing your finger at the screen won't win this one. It will take practice and skill and that's a good thing.
