If your definition of a good game demands that it offer huge depth and longevity beyond mere high-score replayability, then you may feel disappointed with Wonderputt. If, on the other hand, you value precision design, without an ounce of fat left on the final product, then this is one game that's worth far more than the asking price of a dollar.- Modojo

The inclusion of both a fighting game and a brawler is the best of both worlds, as players can switch off between the two and have hours of fun knocking people out. The Wi-Fi option is superb, allowing a friend to jump in the fun at anytime (provided they own a PSP and a copy of the game).- Modojo

Where others have merely replicated, Pixelbite has managed to innovate with its polarity boost mechanics, and it's a game that deserves a place on any racing fan's phone.- Modojo

It all comes down to whether you intend to put up with Yesterday's quirks. There's a good game in there, buried beneath the confusion, but do you have the patience to uncover it? That's the question separating you from this $4.99 (limited time sale) iPhone and iPad title.- Modojo

Brain Age is a decently amusing distraction, but without the fun and variation of the minigames found in "Big Brain Academy" and with many questions about the actual impact the training has on your brain, its tough to recommend the software too highly.- Modojo

We understand The Game Bakers' vision with Combo Crew, but the initial game requires some tweaks to become special. For now, it lags behind those old school beat-em-ups it tries so hard to emulate.- Modojo

Despite its faults, Pocket RPG is still a fun way to pass the time, especially for gamers who prefer to ditch cookie cutter stories in favor of mindless hacking. Just don't expect to play it weeks from now, barring downloadable content.- Modojo

The Grading Game is a welcome change of pace and a solid fit for touchscreen devices. After suffering through numerous classes years ago, it's refreshing to play a game that makes learning fun. That said, grab your virtual pen and let the red ink flow.- Modojo

Excellent though the gameplay and presentation of Talisman Prologue is, the most remarkable thing about the game is how accessible it is to players of all levels of experience.- Modojo

Overall, if you like the Indiana Jones flicks or have a flavor for something Lego (and can't wait for Lego Batman), this trilogy will hit the spot. It's fun for all ages, even if it doesn't do anything incredibly different over the Star Wars games.- Modojo

It may feel somewhat familiar if you've played past incarnations of the series, but the multiplayer gaming and the innovative touch screen controls make it much more than a simple port.- Modojo

While certain elements of Kingdom Conquest 2 may be stronger than others, combined they result in one of the most intriguing strategy games to be released on the App Store. It's packed full of content, offers plenty of variety in its gameplay, and the real story of the game - the impact of player interactions - is something we'll only discover in time.- Modojo

Mr. Crab is not just a very competent game for the most part, it's also a refreshingly different take on the platforming genre - one that's long overdue. It's a colorful and often clever game - qualities that overshadow the game's handful of frustrations.- Modojo

A little more development time to polish some control quirks and hide away 20 or so super-difficult levels for the intrepid, and March of the Minis would have been a much more memorable DS release.- Modojo

It's a wonderfully fresh take on what's become a pretty stale area of mobile gaming over the last 12 months or so, and is simply an essential download for any fan of the genre.- Modojo

Really, the worst thing about Metal Slug 2 is the price. At $3.99, it's more expensive than most games on the App Store, but if you have the cash to burn, we feel this title would make a fantastic edition to your iOS library. That being said, jump into the warzone and come out firing.- Modojo

All that's required though is a little willingness to teach yourself, along with the patience to dig deeper into the game's surprising charms. Puzzle Restorer won't be to everyone's tastes, but if you're ready for a stiff challenge this is one puzzle game you won't want to miss out on.- Modojo

The number of options and bonus goodies that are available are nice, and the jam-packed action of the games themselves should enthrall fans of the series and gather up a flock of new ones along the way. This is simply a must-have retro collection that should keep you plenty busy until the PS3 Gradius that's been hinted at arrives.- Modojo

It is a genuinely tense game that will leave you with a frozen grin of terror on your face as you desperately try to preserve the last remaining wisps of your hull, while fighting to deliver the final blow yourself. In short, there's nothing else quite like it on the App Store.- Modojo
