Metroid Dread is one of the games of the year. The waiting time after Fusion was worth it, and this sequel lives up to it. The title has great pacing, cool design, and plenty of mechanics that modernize Samus. This game serves to highlight two things: Samus Returns, and MercurySteam.

Ubisoft is halfway for wanting to please everyone with a Far Cry 6 that cried out for much more risky decisions. It complies with note in most of the playable decisions, but neither the argument nor its great villain is at the height of what we expected from a great revolutionary adventure. A game that you'll like without loving it and that ruins the wickets that could have made it the best Far Cry in history.

Alan Wake Remastered is a great game with capital letters and a perfect opportunity to enjoy it if it once escaped you. A horror adventure that moves the strings of psychological power like no one else, exploring the fears that we have in our heads.

Aragami 2 is a sequel that improves on the original installment in every way, giving users a long adventure, full of revenge, stealth and action. Together with a splendid soundtrack, make Aragami 2 a more than remarkable title, which is not free of certain aspects that could be more polished and cared for, but which shows that the Spanish video game industry has a lot of talent to show the rest of the world.

Lemnis Gate shows us a tremendously original evolution to conventional shooters, adding strategic touches that can make more than one fall in love. Although it has a very basic execution with characters with very little personality, the speed to play games, the decisions we must take and the countless options we have in our hands to win the rounds makes it a very good choice for strategy lovers this fall.

Diablo 2: Resurrected is a game that goes far beyond the nostalgia of the fans. A solid title that reminds us of what Blizzard has meant to video games and makes us understand why we need it to come back someday. Whether or not you enjoyed it twenty years ago, it is truly a must-have.

FIFA 22 is a step in the right direction. It can never be in the best, because for that we would have to see changes in FUT's micropayments, but we do see a huge effort to make matches more realistic and a great job to add novelties to the title's various modes.

Lost Judgment is a perfect sequel. Its greatest virtue is a story that leaves us absorbed during the twenty hours that will take you to complete the main content.

NBA 2K22 is not more of the same. It has improved defense, playably is the best in many years, and has added what is effectively an MMO to its MyPlayer. However, the game still feels like early access in certain modes, with bugs that ruin the immersion in MyNBA, and monetization remains a problem for a player unwilling to invest or who doesn't have an edition with some Virtual Currency to use in their MyPlayer.

Lost in Random has very good ideas and a development that combines its gothic atmosphere with a combat system inspired by the best role-playing games. But, when you repeat the same process continuously, the sensations are more bitter.

Life is Strange: True Colors is not a perfect game and it is difficult to compare it with its predecessors, since each one is special and has a totally different approach. It can be classified as the most mature of the saga, although it has some problems when it comes to dealing with the psychological factor surrounding the protagonist.

Deathloop is one of the best works from Arkane Studios. An adventure that relies on trial and error, level repetition and pure emergent exploration to discover all the secrets of the loop and the story of Colt and Julianna. A PS5 must-have (right now) that proves Arkane always knows what it's doing.

Tales of Arise is the return of a mythical saga that has not always been able to convince players, but that has taken its five-year break calmly enough to give us what will be one of the most outstanding JRPG titles of the year and a more than solid game for those who want to discover the saga. A title that hooks you with its plot, fulfills its combat and makes you fall in love with the relationships between characters.

WarioWare: Get it together! it is fresh, intense and does not give respite. An ideal option to enjoy, especially in company, crazy tests that are far from the traditional. Although your Story Mode can be completed in just one afternoon, you have many options to play in company.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a proposal that, in general terms, we have loved for its fidelity to the Alien movies and because it does not seek to be anything more than an action experience a la Left 4 Dead, already with built-in improvements that can be seen in Back 4 Blood, to kill aliens without stopping. However, it could have been much more and bring some variety to not always be the same. Still, if you are fans of the movie saga you can't let it escape.

King's Bounty 2 is a more than remarkable return of the tactical franchise, which presents us with a world of the most original, accompanied by a story that, without surprising, gets what it wants: to entertain a good amount of hours to everyone who plays it. Even with its design flaws, the work makes up for it with a combat system as complete and deep, while simple, so that all types of users can enjoy it to the fullest.

The feelings with Monster Train: First Class are great. It's a deep title, with tons of content and it plays great on Nintendo Switch. Perhaps it can be too demanding for those who are not fans of the roguelite card genre, but the reward if you invest hours in the title is a lot of fun.

Psychonauts 2 is huge news for Xbox Game Studios, Double Fine, fans of the series and gamers in general. It's a title that overflows with charisma and deals with some very complicated issues in a brilliant way. Perhaps we could have asked for more from a gameplay or combat point of view, but it's impossible not to have a smile on your face when you reach the credits.

Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut refines the formula of the original thanks to its technical improvements and taking advantage of the functions of PS5. The new DLC expands its story and, while it is not to go crazy, it is a good excuse to return to gallop through this samurai adventure that has already made a dent in the hearts of PlayStation players.

Road 96 is an experience that you will remember in a few years if you let yourself be absorbed by its world. Hades is a hellish road full of painful moments, full of satisfaction. That is to say, you will die and die a lot, but you will also learn, grow with Zagreo and overcome the expectations of the terrible Hades. Everything in this game is designed with exquisite taste, but you have to fulfill an indispensable requirement: that you enjoy roguelike tropes. That is to say, randomness, combat repetition, exacerbated difficulty and constant growth of your protagonist. If all this appeals to you, BEWARE, you're going to spend hundreds of hours glued to the controller with this little work of art.

The bohemian Assassin's Creed Unity gives way to the rats and the rottenness of this Siege of Paris. A very well-managed expansion in which we again have to conquer a territory, but adds differential elements, such as a greater importance of stealth and new mechanics to distinguish it from what we have seen so far.

What was born as a Skyrim mod has come true with a full game that is around ten hours long and offers an interesting story, full of time twists, four different endings and around ten hours long. Technically worked, with specific errors in its graphics and interface and with an intelligent use of time loops to solve missions, the player is challenged to discover the ins and outs of a civilization governed by the golden rule where the consequences of a bad action, they can be fatal. Discover the ins and outs of this small-scale civilization, make decisions and discover all its characters.

The Ascent wants to make changes in a genre but it falls short and is not polished enough to offer a satisfactory experience. The setting is successful, it picks up the essence of the Cyberpunk style, giving it a further point of decadence and an extra element with the alien touch, with interesting character designs and offers an interesting action proposal that may fall short too. The biggest drawback comes in its optimization where there are many rough edges that present problems.

Pokémon Unite is a superb game and also a terrifying micropayment store. While it remains up in the air whether we will have more generous challenges and events in the future, and even a revamp of the reward system, there is no doubt that greed makes worse a MOBA for Nintendo Switch that playably is impeccable.

Onirike, from the Spanish DevilishGames, takes us on an adventure that reminds us of the value of dreaming and the memories we have saved. An adventure in three dimensions that brings a certain nostalgic factor to those games that were played at the beginning of the century and that have been forgotten. Platforms, chases and puzzles come together in an entertaining adventure that is weighed down by errors such as input lag in its controls and little variety. A Tim Burton atmosphere and colorful characters await in an adventure that although short, entertaining and has a great moral. All this at an affordable price.

The general feeling with Death Door is being in front of a good game, which ends up getting lost a little when trying to do a little more than what the design intuits during the first hours. That does not detract from the fact that it is a tremendously enjoyable title and very careful in multiple aspects. A solid game that also has a perfect duration for what it proposes.

Samurai Warrriors 5 is a full-fledged musou and a good installment of the saga, but it sins of being too flat and of not evolving the gameplay and the mechanics of the genre. Nor does it bring great new, in general, and is aimed only at fans. But, even so, it's a great entertainment that we recommend.

Neo The World Winds With You is an atypical and special game. If you loved the first installment, this sequel will live up to it. Although it loses the surprise factor that the original had, it improves its formula and squeezes it with the jump to 3D and a more intense and dynamic combat. But beyond its RPG development, in which it does not particularly stand out, its greatest virtue is once again an intriguing story full of plot twists that keeps us puzzled from beginning to end.
