One of the most beautiful, most polished games in the story of Obsidian. Also, one with the weakest characters, dialogues and design for a studio that uses to excel on that. An entertaining ARPG (with focus on the 'A'), that hopefully won't get in the way of a proper Pillars of Eternity sequel in the future.

Alien: Rogue Incursion arrives as one of the best virtual reality experiences in a year, this past 2024, full of great VR titles. The setting is everything in the new Survios game - creators of other VR games such as Creed: Rise to Glory or The Walking Dead: Onslaught -, completely immersing us in what could be a new and terrifying story set in the canon universe of the 'Alien' saga, with a duration that can easily stretch to six or eight hours, depending on whether or not we thoroughly explore each level and its secrets. It offers an attractive mix of exploration, puzzles and unbridled action, all seasoned with a constant feeling of claustrophobia and extreme survival. In addition, visually it is quite a feat within the current virtual reality landscape despite the occasional setback in terms of animations or the position of the enemies in relation to their environment. The definitive 'Alien' experience reinforced by an increasingly established and effective virtual reality.

Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is a safe bet for both Ender Lilies fans and any player who loves the metroidvania genre. A continuous experience with respect to its predecessor, with a more narrative and somewhat more accessible approach, but equally polished in each and every one of its sections. As in the first part, the studio hits the mark by offering a very satisfying experience at the controls. Despite presenting a level design that is not too intricate, it is still a clear candidate for metroidvania of the year, at the expense of what Hornet has to say, if Silksong arrives in time for GOTY 2025, of course.

With a great attention for every detail in the world of Bohemia, Warhorse has been able to create one of the greatest RPG in the past years. With an absolutely astonishing world building and a great narrative, it's a complete essential for every RPG fan.

Civilization VII is the most revolutionary and innovative installment of the legendary 4X turn-based strategy saga. The division of the games into 3 eras, and the possibility of choosing a leader and civilization separately are just the tip of the iceberg of a large number of interesting new features. The title offers thousands of hours of content, retains all the features that took the saga to the top, and offers excellent audiovisual finish and a fully polished experience free of bugs.

Between the original and Sigma, this remake is the best version of the game since the Itagaki's one, the best entry for newcomers and a good appetizer to wait Ragebound and Ninja Gaiden 4.

A wonderful arcade as good as the previous one, but even its new and fun multiplayer can't save it from the lack of content.

Stray is a nice port of one of the most well-known indie gems of recent times. "The cat game" is friendly in its gameplay and captivating in its images and music, but not only that. His message is profound without falling into condescension, and he manages to win our hearts with humility, sincerity and truth. You never feel that you are being told a false story, but the sad chronicle of a possible future.

Marvel Rivals is a new highlight in the hero shooter genre. Its gameplay feels familiar, but it's fresh enough to invest a lot of hours with all of its beloved heroes and villains.

Among Ashes is an unexpected and pleasant surprise within survival horror genre. A game capable of breaking the wall between the player and the narrative from the other side of TV.

A truly compelling Indiana Jones adventure.

Despite some minor balance problems and a certain repetitiveness in the second half, FANTASIAN Neo Dimension is a work easy to recommend for JRPG lovers. Those who love games in the style of the first Final Fantasy will find this title an ideal experience.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead delivers a nice experience based on the cinematic franchise, with a great setting and a slow pace. With the priority of not making noise, it offers a surprising variety in its gameplay, despite some trial and error situations.

Little Big Adventure – Twinsen’s Quest is a remake of a cult classic from the 90s, with all-new graphics and control tweaks. This is an isometric adventure that sadly feels a bit rough in terms of gameplay, giving the impression of being too stuck in the past and relying on nostalgia. Fans of the 94 original will like it, but it will have a harder time connecting with today’s audiences.

Neon Blood is an enjoyable game with a very immersive history. However its combat system is useless and very bad, so it's a pity that they had put it in, it's better without it.

A gorgeous JRPG that is even better now. One of the best remakes in the last years, full of improvements and new content.

LEGO Horizon Adventures is a simple adventure that does its job as a blocky reinterpretation of Aloy's origins. Sadly, the level design is almost the same through the game.

Metro Awakening is one of the best virtual reality video games of recent times, making use of a sensational setting - as terrifying as it is overwhelming - and a more than striking staging. Its development can sometimes be repetitive and monotonous, although the survival mechanics and weapon manipulation do the rest, despite feeling somewhat less precise than in other similar FPS. A great addition to an already successful saga that finds in VR a new space in which to expand its universe and that any shooter fan should experience.

Being the first sports game exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series, we should be more demanding with this one. Despite being solid technically, it´s not amazing, but it´s enough to satisfy hockey fans, although its lack of new functions.

This superb remake of the 1993 JRPG cult classic is also an outstanding game in its own right. The numerous player decisions and their narrative impact ensure that players willing to invest the time and effort needed will be rewarded with one of the best titles the genre has to offer.

Empire of the Ants is a simple but enjoyable RTS with a unique setting that pushes the way you dig in the game.

Mario & Luigi: Brothership is a fantastic adventure that prioritizes a top level combat.

Arizona Sunshine Remake is a fantastic update of a classic zombie game in VR with noticeable graphical and gameplay improvements, and all the extra content included.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bring back the best in class multiplayer combat with a solid campaign, classic zombies and a new movement system that evolves the way you play in the franchise.

Unnecessary? Yes. Impressive? Also, yes. This remaster of Horizon: Zero Dawn is one of the best we've ever seen. Playing around with the remake, Nixxes Software has rebuilt many aspects from scratch and brought the original game up to par with its sequel, a technical showcase of this generation. The new lighting, character changes, and increased density of wildlife and vegetation are the highlights of this audiovisual marvel that is worth much more than the 10 euros they ask for the upgrade.

Max is back and fights her past demons while trying to save her friend Safi. Chloe is missed dearly in a game in which decisions don't have such a huge impact as in other LIS games.

Superb visuals and art for a well crafted entry that focus on the action side, abandoning the RPG roots.

Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered is the great return of one of the most original and beloved PS3 and Xbox 360 games. It's not flawless, but it's pretty fun.
