The idea of using all the Wii complements is a nice one for those who have them but it may be a high entry fee for the rest of players. TV Party keeps the whacky humour of the series, but the game mechanics are getting old and the repetition of minigames from past entries show there is a lack of ideas.- Meristation

Our Xbox 360s become a huge karaoke machine. Lips is not our average karaoke game, as it features several minigames that provide a bigger and more varied experience. A great tracklist and many fun features, but it could deliver videos in higher resolutions, and not every song has its own video. Also, the tracks do not work as smoothly as they could.- Meristation

Sports Interactive created the greatest football manager yet. Huge, with an incredible number of leagues from all around the world, complex but also really intuitive, and with the added feature of 3D matches where we can watch our team in real time. Just a couple of technical issues keep the game away from being nearly perfect.- Meristation

Probably the worst game based on CSI. The puzzles and tests you must solve have nothing to do with the kind of investigations of the TV series and the graphical style of the game just doesn't work at all.- Meristation

The zombie apocalypse has begun in a small town in the USA. Everything and everyone is at stake. Four players must survive, playing together, fighting agains hordes of zombies. A great co-op shooter and an excellent game in the genre, which lets us live a horrible nightmare.- Meristation

Undercover is entertaining, has excellent controls and offers lots of variety for the vehicles avaliable, which combined with a great soundtrack makes a solid racing game. Sadly, the mediocre technical performance undercuts the presentation values and the light difficulty level will turn down the most dedicated players.- Meristation

The Mortal Kombat universe fights the DC Universe in the most unexpected crossover yet. A great cast of characters, many incredible combos, and a good storyline don't stand for a slick gameplay and some technical issues, but overall, it's a great fighting game for these last months of the year.- Meristation

Shaun White Snowboarding does not deliver what we expected it to. Frustrating gameplay, chaotic presentation, lack of game modes and several technical issues; snowboarding can do much better, and this is not the way to go.- Meristation

We can define Animal Crossing with "déjà vu". This title is almost identical to the Nintendo DS version, there are only minor changes, so nobody who played Wild World will find anything new in Let's Go to the City. But it's Animal Crossing, so it's a good game for all kind of players with dozens of objects to collect and lots of friends to meet.- Meristation

The second expansion to the most played MMORPG ever is here. New weapons, new armors, new abilities and a new class. But is it enough? Wrath of the Lich King is a great game, a great expansion, but do not expect to like it if you didn't enjoy the old World of Warcraft games.- Meristation

Sacred 2 is a pure, old school hack'n slash made for old school fans of the genre. There is no will of experimentation and it uses the classic formulas for player archetypes, combat, evolution or loot. It´s certainly enjoyable if you love the genre, but it doesn't offer anything new and at some moments it suffers from technical glitches and other small annoyances.- Meristation

We put on our trainers in order to start running through the skyscrapers of an enormous city. Mirror's Edge is a unique platforming game, very realistic, with a very special point of view in the genre. A huge experience, very different from what we have played previously, with incredible gameplay and great atmosphere. It's the beginning of a brand new series that can provide us with many satisfactions.- Meristation

An interesting JRPG that has arrived a little bit late, but still is a fair option to expend your money if you're looking to enjoy a very joyful Tales of that has nothing new to offer besides a new story. Still, its a nice option to choose if you like the genre.- Meristation

Banjo is back. A whole new adventure featuring several old friends and some new characters, but in a completely new world. It's great to see Banjo this well, as Nuts & Bolts is really funny, but the new gameplay is something users must get used to. Vehicles are fun, but not as much fun as they should be.- Meristation

Cool graphics, good sound and a great entertainment. Too bad that the most basic thing, the control of the character, simply doesn't work as intended, which makes it really difficult to fully enjoy the game or the feeling like we were using the lightsabers. LucasArts should have waited for the WiiMotion Plus.- Meristation

PES is starting to show clear signs of weakness, its technology is outdated, stuck in last generation efforts, and that is affecting gameplay too. Lots of features are gone, including official licenses, which gives a poor general feeling as a package. All this has left PES way behind its big rival FIFA in many fields, lincluding fun factor, something PES was usually king of not that long ago.- Meristation

PES 2009 on the PS2 continues to be the benchmark in soccer games. Its gameplay and multiplayer fun are unrivaled. It still inherits the classical flaws from the series and it doesn't include the Champions League licenses its next-gen brother has, but it is the best option to recreate a soccer game nevertheless. It is obvious that the machine can no longer provide further improvements.- Meristation

Following the work of Infinity Ward with "Modern Warfare", Treyarch has made a good work following those steps as close as possible, while adding elements of their own. The grim scenario of the Russian campaign is a clear highlight and a triumph for the studio, and the same could be said of the four player cooperative mode. However, we miss more evolution on the graphics engine, and some elements added to the multiplayer experience don't convince us.- Meristation

One of the most important works of Peter Molyneux is finally on its way to Nintendo DS with a very concrete offer: a classic RTS adventure with the original engine system and with nothing new except for being the first time in years that this franchise takes its place on the market.- Meristation

The Broken Bond is a great follow-up for last year's Rise of a Ninja. Bigger, longer, with more characters and a new team system. It offers everything we always wanted to see in a Naruto game, using RoaN as basis and improving in every possible aspect. A very satisfying experience that we hope will continue this road towards perfection.- Meristation

Following the old motto "if it's not broken, don't fix it", Gears of War 2 evolves upon its predecessor expanding the scope, size, possibilities and much more... this new title simply delivers. Clearly not a huge leap in terms of innovation, yet it is Microsoft's best bet and a sure winning title for this Christmas. GoW 2 is as good as a third person shooter can be today and a new benchmark in the genre. Highly recommended.- Meristation

Ubisoft Shanghai lets us become a full-fledged commander. Thanks to our headset, in EndWar we can give orders to our troops just with our voice. A great gameplay that, unfortunately, is not great technically and it's very online-driven. Good ideas, but not very well used.- Meristation

While it's a better game than Turning Point, Spark still shows a lack of capacity to design a modern and competitive FPS. Slow controls, unfair difficulty, boring game mechanics and forgettable story make this title simply uninteresting, except for some moments of visual spectacle fighting colossal creatures.- Meristation

CyberConnect2 makes the most impressive use of Cel Shading technique to this day to deliver a fantastic experience for Naruto fans. With its excellent animation and fluidity, Ninja Storm captures the spirit of Naruto even better than the animated series, perfect for an easy going game designed by fans for fans. With some type of online combat mode it would be the perfect experience for the entusiasts of Kishimoto's manga.- Meristation

With its beautiful visual style, interesting characters and compelling story, Valkyria Chronicles tries to go beyond the usual Japanese SRPG mechanics, embracing a new system that combines direct and turn based action to great effect. The result is a game with true tactical sense, where different tactics can be succesfully used according your play style.- Meristation
