Valkyrie Drive Bhikkuni is an interesting alternative to “Senran Kagura” titles for the PlayStation Vita. Its battle system makes a step forward to a stylish and addicting gameplay which added to its additional game modes and contents makes it a complete title, leaving the fan service aside.

Sonic runs at full speed, now in airplanes and boats. Many different circuits and many memories can be found in this second Mario Kart from Sega. Jet Set Radio, Panzer Dragoon, Golden Axe, Samba de Amigo... a great game with a deep sense nostalgia and a nice multiplayer.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is a great action game, with some original ideas that make up for one of the greatest action games thus far this year. We get the complete package: Great coop and competitive game modes, compelling gameplay and story, good visuals and a couple of charming characters.

Lost Planet 2 is one of the best co-op that we have seen. It has the same AI problems that we saw in its first part... but its great multiplayer doesn't need it.

Nioh 3 is a fantastic game thanks to its glorious combat system and a well designed open world, but there's a lot of reused enemies from the past games and visually is outdated.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 was a good game in 2012 and it's, still, a cool JRPG to play on the PC. Even if the port to computers is not perfect, it's still a nice option to introduce yourself into the Lightning trilogy and enjoy the funniest and smart entry of the trilogy.

WWE is back with all the heat of its fights. The third entry in this-gen consoles is full of energy, an incredible array of game modes, good visuals and great gameplay. A great choice for WWE lovers, but not suitable for everyone.

Cities: Skylines is a really interesting alternative within a fairly consolidated genre. Colossal Orders presents a nice game after the nonsense of some recent attempts by other companies. It has some character and dares to show some original ideas without departing from the standardized gameplay mechanics. If you were waiting for a good city management game just take a look to this interesting project. It's still capable of many surprises if it finally gets supported by a community of creative and proactive users.

Three years later, the franchise improves its visuals a lot, showing an astonishing models above the octagon. However, this improves are not shown outside the fights, with a lack of content that it's almost a habit in the genre.

In its latest adaptation of the beat 'em up series, Soulcalibur is still on the verge. This handheld adaptation of SCIV is probably one of the best games in the genre, and also a very good example of the real potential of PlayStation Portable. You'll probably like or dislike the gameplay system, but it's impossible bot being impressed with the graphic engine after a few battles. Another must-have, the second on this console in just one week.

The story of Wrestlemania is the main character, with some of the greatest moments in WWE history recreated in game, and with some real scenes. But it's not the only content that WWE 2K24 offers, being the perfect place for every WWE fan.

The original Adventure of the Belmont's family is back as a brand-new M2 production. We'll find very much the same as in the first Castlevania games that we played two decades ago: plenty of jumps, enemies and a deep and well obtained feeling of isolation underneath the eyes of Dracula. If you're a fan of the series, go for it. If you're not, here you have a good reason to try with something different. It's not flawless but it's worth the look.

Wargroove 2 is not too different from its predecessor. It implements new mechanics, grooves and many new objectives to accomplish but the feelings are the same. After all, it is not a good sequel but continues to be a very good game with its gameplay mechanics and amazing animations and pixelart.

UFC 2009 Undisputed offers a great game dynamics, with great visuals, an amazing combat system, and many game modes. A great game, but it's too hard to master and, due to the competition itself, it's a game just for hardcore fans.

Yakuza 4 is based on an excellent core from previous installments of the franchise. In fact, there are no significant changes to the gameplay, and the focus of SEGA was in the story elements. The idea of introducing four different characters gives the plot a variety of situation and allow us to know what's happening from several point of views. As it was divided into several acts, the game manages to avoid boring us after a few hours, and taking into account its length, that's a good thing. Sadly, the great scenario situated in the red district of Tokyo becomes rubbish when we progress and discover, again, that there is no realism at all and we are playing and absurd tale. At least, there are no zombies... yet.
