Mega Man makes a comeback that feels natural, fun and great. 30 years later, the formula still works and it's as fun as ever, and the new additions work perfectly in the mix. It's not as inspired as other main entries of the franchise, but it's a good testament that Mega Man still has a lot of life in his circuits.- Meristation

The Evil Within is a varied, deep, challenging and long game. Shinji Mikami and Tango Gameworks scare us, they mix puzzles and third person shooting in a reborn survival horror that is visually poor. The Keeper, the Alpha mastodon and other ugly deformed will make you have nightmares.- Meristation

Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist is a safe bet for both Ender Lilies fans and any player who loves the metroidvania genre. A continuous experience with respect to its predecessor, with a more narrative and somewhat more accessible approach, but equally polished in each and every one of its sections. As in the first part, the studio hits the mark by offering a very satisfying experience at the controls. Despite presenting a level design that is not too intricate, it is still a clear candidate for metroidvania of the year, at the expense of what Hornet has to say, if Silksong arrives in time for GOTY 2025, of course.- Meristation

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter stands between David Lynch's Twin Peaks and a Lovecraft story in terms of narrative but also offers solid gameplay mechanics. It's not a very long game (around four hours) but if you loved Gone Home, this is a game that you definitely have to try.- Meristation

Ancestors of Legacy is an entertaining RTS in which the tactical aspects are enhanced and the management ones are automated so that the user focuses only on the planning and development of the battles. The limitation of units means that the movements have to be measured very carefully. There are a lot of factors such as terrain, lighting and orientation of the units that affect the development of battles.- Meristation

Only the on-line modes and the Davis Cup separate it from the previous games of the series. SEGA must think about where they want to take the saga, because the stagnation can start being dangerous.- Meristation

Good adaptation and much new content. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate uses both screens and capabilities of 3DS and Wii U, but it's the same hilarious and addictive game from Wii with many extras. The HD doesn't look good and retains some mistakes.- Meristation

Anachronistic both in a good and a bad way, Yooka-Laylee recaptures the charm of the 32-bit era collectathon platformers. It definitely is rough in some places, and the overall design would benefit from a little more polish, but it's also a love letter to a forgotten genre that sets a solid starting point for Playtonic Games.- Meristation

A fun an interesting JRPG with tons of content and world with a life of its own -- Yo-Kai Watch sets a new universe that young fans will enjoy from the beginning to the end. Although the combat system might be a little bit of a lackluster, its story-driven gameplay offers a great deal of life lessons and a not-too-demanding adventure.- Meristation

Despite the technical flaws (horrible camera, not so impressive visuals, bad voice over...), Star Ocean is a game that delivers a great experience, thanks to its fun and deep gameplay, the many things we can do, and the development of characters. Unfortunately, the story is not as charming as it should have been.- Meristation

The new season of the NBA has started, and EA Sports offers us a great way of having the best basketball of the world in our homes. After several years of improving, NBA Live 09 achieves what we wanted to see in a next-gen basketball game. Great visuals, good gameplay (arcade-driven) and a lot of game modes, including the NBA Live 365, which updates constantly in the game.- Meristation

Shadowrun: Dragonfall is a very good campaign and finally shows some of the potential that Dead Man's Switch forgot along the way. The new story offered by Harebrained Schemes does not only provide great content to the game but also opens the door to users who want to unleash their imagination. Although its overall image is blurred by its price inexplicably equal to the original content, Shadowrun Returns still is -possibly- the best adaptation of the world of Shadowrun to date.- Meristation

Two years later, Assassin's Creed tries again to make real those promises from Ubisoft, and prove itself as a better game than it was. The truth is that, despite the Renaissance setting, the vivid locations and the historical landmarks, the new features added don't really improve the sequel: the same repetitive mechanics remain, as the flawed enemy AI, a rough combat system and moments of frustration coming from issues with the camera and the control response in the platform sections. Assassin's Creed II it's still a good game but far from the masterpiece Ubisoft has been promising.- Meristation

Space Marine is a great first try for Relic in its attempts to move Warhammer 40,000 to a different genre. The combat system is very satisfactory and perfectly executed thanks to great work with animation and sounds effects and the artistic work recreating a Forge World is remarkable. It lacks a bit of audacity and ambition both in campaign and multiplayer, but it's a really promising first entry ina more action focused conception of this universe.- Meristation
