Se7en & Still Life meets Miller's Sin City in this comic-esque thriller, more Colour than Noir. New York Crimes/ Yesterday keeps the visual cartoon style, signature of Pendulo Studios, but this time filled with bloody characters and satanic cults. A very good game, it's a shame that greatness is stolen by some puzzles whose way to be resolved are not in the tone that the game is looking for.

Hob's Barrow is an excellent modern point and click adventure game. It takes inspiration from British folklore to deliver an interesting plot, with solid characters and inspired dialogues. The puzzles are interesting and can be solved using logic. A must have for fans of the genre in a year full of great adventures.

This new entry in the Silent Hill series is, simply, one of the best entries in the franchise. It knows what players want and fear, and show them their inner fears on-screen. A great game, with an unforgettable story, but unfortunately it's too short and quite easy.

Anarchy Reigns has simple but effective gameplay and combo mechanics. Great online beat'em up full of online modes. Frantic and fun, but has a repetitive and too-short single-player campaign.

Horizon Call of the Mountain is a great entry point to understand most of the capabilities of PS VR 2.

Kirby's return to Dreamland follows the structure of his earlier adventures, adding co-op features and new mini-games and special power-abilities. As long as you don't expect a sequel to the outstanding Epic Yarn's episode, die-hard fans will be as satisfied as newcomers.

FAST RMX is a solid experience, one of the most recommended games in the eShop so far. Better than the original but with the same mistakes and flaws as the original, this game is good but not good enough to overcome an F-Zero title.

DeathSpank is a really funny videogame, the perfect mix between Diablo and Monkey Island. It has madness, hilarious situations and addictive gameplay. One of the hits of this summer.

Overlord 2 is a solid sequel of the first one, a game that surprised many people thanks to its charm and originality. Now, the surprise factor is gone, but Triumph Games has made wise improvements over the weakest elements of their previous work, which makes this an enjoyable experience and a recommended title.

Moonlighter offers two types of gameplay in the same game and does it in an excellent way. Beautiful and with many details where a great soundtrack accompanies him. A difficult game with an excellent duration.

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot explores a new way to revisit Toriyama's creation. Exploration, adventure and nostalgia shine in an Action RPG with simple combat and some repetitive missions, but with the most impressive recreation of Dragon Ball Z story in any videogame.

Well focused combat system, very classy flavored, and nicely designed maps can't fully overcome a lackluster story and forgettable characters. It is very good as an strategy game, it´s a bit lacking as a Fire Emblem.

Once Again, Ubisoft Montreal takes us to Persia, this time an arid desert where we will face great dangers. With its cell-shading graphics and the incredible platforming areas, the Prince is better than ever; also, this time he has a great companion, Elika. A huge adventure, beautiful and great, but with some technical issues, extremely easy and very straightforward.

Fran's new is a wonderful tribute to the Metal Gear Solid saga but to the Spanish one. Extremely fun, worked in every aspect and a safe bet on any platform.

Possibly, the greatest grindhouse game ever. Great sense of humour, a lot of gore and, technically, one of the best games available on the Wii. Unfortunately, it's very short, as always is the case with on-rails shooters. But, overall, it's a unique experience, and an incredible arcade game.

Lego Batman 2: DC Heroes is the best Lego game that we've ever seen. Open world, voices, original story and great characters. Simple and fun.

For Honor is not a perfect game but it is a kind surprise. It is different, original, deep, intense, visceral, and above all, fun. Medieval combat has never felt like this before. Any fighting games fan should try it at least once.

A legendary shmup at least on our hands (without needing to pay hundreds of dollars for it). Certainly, one of the notable ones for Mega Drive.

Thumper is arguably the best example of how a game developer can create a brand new experience in an old genre like this with an impressive game which matches every aspect in a wonderful way on Switch.

Ikaruga and Switch are a perfect match. Flawless in both portable or television modes, Ikaruga demonstrates that it still reigns among today´s shooters. A true classic that truly holds up, a lot of time after storming a genre.

While we are a bit let down about the role of Ryu on this game, it´s still a beautiful, savage, old school action game that is easy to fall in love with.
