When we fight with the witch of Umbra or with Viola - her phases are great - everything goes smoothly and it is the delivery we expected for rhythm, variety and quality of weapons, as well as some interesting advanced mechanics for higher difficulty levels. But the game falls short in many of the new proposals that are interspersed, from uninspired puzzles to minigames, going through sequences or combats that are too simple and not very dynamic. With all this, the fact that its predecessors set the bar very high does not hide the reality: this is a very good game and an essential for Switch.

The original Arkham City is a great game, so it would have been pretty hard for this version to ruin that. However, a frame rate all over the place and insignificant additions to the experience makes this a hard to recommend version if you have access to other machines. For Wii U only users, it is a fantastic game.
