A flawed gem, but a gem nonetheless. Fantastic world building and stellar mission design for an ambitious and really interesting game that only needs an extra month of polish.

Colin McRae Dirt 2 is one of the best driving games ever. The tech is great, it has a lot of options, a huge array of competitions, and its fun, fast and amazing. Its main problem is the lack of a deep gameplay; it's easy to play and it's a game for everyone, and that's both good and bad news. Those searching for a difficult game, keep searching; but it's true that this game is really fun from the beginning.

An impressive job of a port, this is the definitive edition of the game, one that fans should definitely purchase if they liked the original. Those who did not like it, however, should continue to stay away.

Team tactics is something really rare to see in shooters, specially in close combat, but Starhawk provides the tools to enjoy great battles where the strategy is as important as the aiming skills. LightBox Entertainment did a great job redefining the original Warhawk, from the aesthetics to the gameplay.

Modern Warfare is a brave new iteration, with tons of news additions and some controversial decisions in terms of design. Has a frantic and well-balanced campaign, new gunfight mode is the best multiplayer novelty in years but has also problems with some maps and co-op experience with obvious weakness.

MLB 13 The Show is the best baseball game nowadays. Great control variety for beginners and depth for experts, good in offline modes and awesome visuals. But has only a few poor new modes.

Spelunky! has a great level design and good gameplay. Full of possibilities, hard to complete and with good visuals. One of the best platform games for Xbox Live.

Reanimal is a great horror story from the creators of Little Nightmares, a step beyond in its original formula that manages to thrill thanks to a very well-crafted atmosphere, now in cooperative mode.

The Beatles: Rock Band surpasses the barrier of musical games, delivering a complete documentary experience with enticing, superb visuals and a well-built-for-fans Story Mode. In addition to that, peripherals are among the finest ever seen in the genre with the exception of the drums, very similar to those seen in Rock Band 2. This game sets a standard regarding what a one-band game should be.

PES 2013 is the best PES in this generation, and it's a great football game. Deep control, fluid matches and fun experience. With a new engine it could be a serious contender in the future.

And this is just on of the most hilarious moments that will give you Disgaea DS. It also has an amazing gameplay that takes the SRPG premise and make it a whole new thing, more complex, deep and unique. Disgaea was one of the best PS2 games -- It later became a PSP must have, and now, it's happening the same on the DS version: if you like the genre, don't doubt it.

Kirby: Planet Robobot is a solid, fun and clever 2D platform game. Mechs are a great addition and has good extra modes. However, it's too easy.

Wreckfest is a great successor to the Destruction Derby legacy. A game with personality and fun, with the best recreation of damages and accidents, and with excellent physics.

Boxing as we have never seen it. Great visuals, an amazing gameplay and a lot of fun in the most realistic and entertaining boxing game ever. Ideal both for experts and for newcomers who want to enjoy a very good game.

Resident Evil HD Remaster has new modern control, is more intuitive, and has all the good gameplay mechanics that we saw on the original remake. Looks great in HD, but there's nothing news in terms of content.

The Division is a great mix of TPS, Action RPG and MMO features. Intense campaign, full of content and great endgame and Dark Zone. Has some problems with repetitive side-quests and enemy AI, but is a solid experience, better in co-op mode.

InFamous is a superheroes' different history. Cole handles the options and power that the electricity has given him, and with them he can do the good or get squarely into the dark side. With a few excellent controls, many power unlockables and the freedom complete to move and to use them for Empire City, this game is the "sleeper" PS3 game of this year. At least it has demonstrated a quality and an amusement within reach of few games.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 continues the great efforts from the 2019 installment by improving every aspect without taking too many risks.

Living the life of an android is what David Cage and Quantic Dream offer us in their new game. Detroit Become Human is an emotional experience from beginning to end, a journey with three humanoid robots in a playable story-oriented narrative experience in the tradition of Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls. Yes, maybe the gameplay is different, it's not the usual fare, but the depth and consequences of our reactions make the gameplay feel organic in every action, reaction and decision we make, not just a 'you chose well/you chose poorly' thing. Visually a spectacle, the best thing in Detroit: Become Human is not what we play, but what we feel.

Pokémon Legends Arceus is a must for fans of the franchise, a success in its reinterpretation of the gameplay formula, which introduces action in the capture and mobility without giving up the turns in combat. The loop is addictive and fun: it works wonders. Game Freak has nailed in practically everything mechanically, with huge, well-designed, hostile, vertical, open environments full of secrets to be solved. We have a long journey ahead of us. Its technical section, however, subtracts in the result despite its artistic preciosity. Fortunately, the series has found the way, one that can coexist with the classic and that should be fed back from now on. This title is a celebration after an era of ups and downs. Pokémon is more alive than ever: this work marks a new and exciting beginning on which to build, polish and improve. We are to be congratulated. Turning point.

Dark Hero Days offers exactly what we could expect form a production with Nippon Ichi's seal - plenty of fun, unlimited hours in front of the PSP and an outstanding storyline that makes us laugh and smile from time to time. With a few new additions, Disgaea 2's back at its best.

Splatoon 2 is arguably the best entry in a multiplayer game from Nintendo. The game does everything better than the original Splatoon, although at first glance it could seem the same. Salmon Run and Hero Mode are just honey in the overall; it is excellent in its conception.

Not much novelty for a game that was already brilliant. Wii U has a complete and nearly perfect version, very tactile and easy to enjoy, also in multiplayer.
