Budget Cuts is a game very well optimized in terms of resources, approach and execution. Its fantastic implementation makes it affordable for gamers struggling with virtual reality. Teleportation movement prevents dizziness, but also integrates fresh and brilliantly into the gameplay itself. Budget Cuts is one of those titles that justifies virtual reality and helps establish the place it deserves.- Meristation

Superb and inventive puzles and general charm balances the poor combat and lacklustre art, resulting in a remarkable indie game.- Meristation

As good as Assassin's Creed Odyssey, but a bit continuist. Great mixture between new RPG mechanics and some classic elements.- Meristation

DiRT 5 does not bring anything revolutionary to the arcade driving genre, but it does manage to set the saga in a territory where no one can doubt its existence. DiRT is still DiRT, an episode that takes the best of the first three numbered installments and does not forget to provide the excellent set design of the Rally side. This anarchic philosophy is enjoyed at the controls, but it suffers from a series of technical problems and graphic finishes that are below expectations. A remarkable title specially designed for lovers of the saga and four wheels, but which fails to establish itself as a benchmark in its genre.- Meristation

Manifold Garden is a pleasant surprise. A simple, straightforward, abstract, minimalist and complex video game through its simplicity. But above all, a video game. Inspired by the Rubik's cube and based on the idea of the Relativity painting, this first-person puzzle title invites us to experiment by defying the laws of physics and gravity, an example that puzzles are there to impose their own rules, to bypass them and turn them around so that the player sits inside. Sometimes fascinating, sometimes too limited, its three hours of duration leave a great taste in the mouth. Fully recommended.- Meristation

Pendragon merges narrative and roguelike in a wise way, letting the player create their story with decisions on battle. However, the narrative part is much fulfilled than the strategy part.- Meristation

A really enjoyable old-school game with enough charm to be recommended to all the people that loved Medievil, Maximo and other cartoonish horror-platformers from the PS1.- Meristation

Ghostrunner is a fresh and frantic action game set in a striking cyberpunk universe. A videogame that offers a demanding gameplay experience that will force us to master each of the cyborg's abilities to advance in a somewhat generic script.- Meristation

Outstanding both as part of Supergiant Games' catalogue and for the genre as a whole, Hades proves that Supergiant are masters at melding their style with unique gameplay premises. It also shows they have somehow become masters of the action genre and the result is a supremely crafted masterpiece that stands tall amongst this year's releases.- Meristation

The Crown Tundra is one of the best things that have happened at this generation of Pokémon games. A rich territory, nourished with content and with a new mode, the Dynamax Adventures, which is a success. Sensational set design, mysteries to discover and ideas that fit together perfectly. The Expansion Pass, adding The Isle of Armor, now feels more than remarkable. A pity to have had to wait a whole year.- Meristation

Prinny 1 2 Exploded and Reloaded hits Nintendo Switch as an attractive tribute to classic 2D platformers, maintaining Disgaea's great sense of humor with any remarkable features compared to the PSP original games. Doraemon: Story of Seasons continues to keep the essence and charm of the original videogame, with its same strengths and weaknesses. PS4 players can enjoy a relaxed title, with all the mechanics of the series, but limited in options and a somewhat wasted story.- Meristation

The return of Crash Bandicoot is a celebration for platform videogames lovers. Toys for Bob has managed to understand the classical essence to perfection and has been completely right by incorporating Quantum Masks and the design of some phases; However, the difficulty is not as high as it used to be, nor is the design of some levels as excellent. Despite its flaws, it's a great starting point for a new trilogy.- Meristation

A walking simulation song of cosmic horror at first, Maid of Sker has a story that loves to mix EA Poe and HP Lovecraft styles, a place with its own persona, and a great first part where the darkness and sounds effects keeps you in tension. It is a shame that the stealth mechanic and checkpoint system ruins the potential of a game where the bad guys don’t look scary at all.- Meristation
