Cathedral is a nice tribute to the 8 Bit era. It does not innovate at all and it can do something boring but in general it is a well executed product.

Everhood is a unique product thanks to a message which makes an impression to the player. It’s a philosophical and very human history, even if the supporting characters are not up to the standard. The playability, with a significant original soundtrack, is also one-of-a-kind.

Capcom does not dust off its classics here because they have never lost their shine. The collection of thirty-two games that we find here has always been an eternal present. Young people will also find the interest of the challenges and the online ranking. Arcade Stadium is a very attractive compilation that knows how to expand its legacy.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit has aged wonderfully. Ten years have not been enough for this work to begin to show some seams, because both in the playable side and in the design structure of its challenges it is still intact. The remastering work is minimal, only technical, and we miss a greater effort to improve some textures, the fluidity of the images or the models, which do not stand out excessively. Luckily, on the playable level it is still excellent in almost all its sections, the Autolog is a sensational idea and there are always reasons to return: wasted content. Hot Pursuit is back in 2020 to remind us just how good it is.

The Falconeer tries to fly so high from very early, but as the hours go by, its structure ends up holding back any hint of excellence and it is reduced to simplicity, which is a shame considering how interesting its planning is. The control is precise, the narrative context is rich and absorbing, but flying is not as satisfying as it could be, clouded by a mission design with repetitive and insistent patterns. The magic is short-lived, despite being a brief and enjoyable experience on the artistic level.

Mail Mole is a game made by 3D platformer experts and aimed to followers of this type of adventures, where so much has been said over the years. But Talpa Games also has something to say, and this title, which serves as a cover letter for the Barcelona based studio, is also a declaration of intent: there is a lot of talent here. Without achieving excellence in anything, Mail Mole offers a sum of remarkably executed elements, with well-directed moments and final bosses that shine with their own light. The conjunction of all the parts results in a highly recommended title that also comes at a very reasonable price.

Baobabds Maousoleum: Grindhouse Edition is a very imaginative, crazy game, with a strong personality, full of extreme characters and some moments that we will always remember. The soundtrack includes some masterful themes and the game has a handful of secrets to discover beyond its end. It is the clear example of a game that adds more than its parts.
